Not quite sure how their involvement will help the situation!

An unsurprising new development is that the trust appears to have done nothing since the meeting. No transcript, no presentation of ideas. Nothing.

Here we go again come on another 10 pages bashing the trust

I presented an idea to them. Was told it was being discussed. Nothing.
Asked for a transcript of the meeting as was told it was being written and would dispel some of the criticism. Fuck all.

They deserve all the criticism they get till they pull their fucking fingers out.

One part of what you suggested has already been implemented.

Obviously not the part where I said the trust needs to not only do things but seen to be doing things, to be open.

Can you appreciate that that’s not always possible?

I thought they had no money so unless someone has dipped their hands in their pocket as a personal contribution under the umbrella of the trust then it's not happening.

Is the academy in trouble again or is this claim relating to when Wasps pulled out of the Higgs so we agreed a new deal?
I'm confused. Is that just a straight up lie?

The Trust raised 25 grand to save it a few years ago. That’s just one example of the positive contributions we’ve made throughout the years.

I’ve got a feeling that this thread is going to turn into a life of Brian what have the Romans’ ever done for us thread.

What has the Trust ever done for us

Well there’s the academy

Well of course the academy but aside from the academy what has the Trust ever done for us

The SCG

Well yeah but apart from the academy and the SCG what has the Trust ever done for us...

Which time roughly?
The only time I can recall a trust raising money for the academy was before the currently trust.

It was back when we had the old version with the likes of Natalie Cox and Kev Monks. The one that got killed off for being ineffective and replaced with the current one. Although in the end didn't the new trust have to end up being a continuation of the old one for it to be 'official' or something along those lines.

The academy stuff would have been before SISU were here, didn't the club think the academy wasn't worth keeping going?

Oh that makes a bit of sense. I assumed it was a reference to the current lot led by David Johnson.

Yes but is the new Trust a pheonix Trust? If it is can they really claim the old Trust’s history? On the basis that I would support an AFC Coventry City and feel for it, believe in it and treat it the same as the original CCFC, (if the latter disappeared) in my opiion, they are one and the same!

There’s the fund raising for Jimmy Hill Legacy fund

Yeah but apart from the academy, SCG and fund raising for the Jimmy Hill Legacy fund what has the Trust ever done for us.

Would explain willis leaving...

Talking of Willis I remember reading a Teletext match preview quite a few years back that described him as a "full black".

There was also one that listed our "staring XI"

This could also be good for the club in the stadium battle - Wasps are half-black so the EDL will clearly be looking for them to be kicked out. Or their name changed to "The No Blacks"
