Just got my tickets. We need a win here. The last two results have been very poor

This is exactly the type of game we struggle in.......deffo a ‘Scunthorpe away’ kinda fixture.

Last time we beat Plymouth away was in 1996, FA Cup and our league record there is instantly forgettable. Think this will be a tough one.

Same starting line up as Wimbledon but JCH for Chaplin for me.

I think we need to be more "scrappy" and JCH gives us that, and Hiwula looks more dangerous than Chaplin (even after considering whatever he was doing at the end of Wimbledon game!)

Change the left back to one that can control the ball I would go for Brown as he has a bit of bite.

Brandon Mason and Brown were not in the squad on saturday and were not injured! we need to understand what MR is doing bringing in Mccallum for them at this stage of the season? has somethin gone on in the Dressing room we dont know about!

He scored again at the weekend, somebody needs to do a job on him early in the game.

I like your thinking.

I'm not sure we have anybody with that about them other than Luke Thomas, then it will be like this.

Remember the game in 06? We lost 3-1. Vincent Pericard only scored 23 league goals in a 16 year career (he claims he was a striker). 13% of those came in the space of 61 minutes that day. That might seem odd until you see our back four was Whing, Williams, Heath and Impey.

I saw that assault again the other day that was an occasion when a red card wouldn’t have been enough but did he only get a yellow

I don't think he even got a yellow, but I may be wrong.

That's an incredible stat, and also extremely embarrassing!

Really not sure what team to suggest for this. Every one of the strikers can't complain being dropped. MR will probably drop Hiwula for JCH but we've tried Chaplin/JCH before but I can't recall Hiwula/JCH being tried. I'd change one of the left pairing, probably McCallum assuming one of Brown or Mason is in contention.

We should be getting something from the game really but I can see us losing by the odd goal, one of which will be scored by Lamerias who will embarrass at least one of our defenders and look a world-beater.

_____________Burge
Sterling___Willis___Hyam___Mason
Thomas___Kelly__Bayliss_Enobakhare
__________JCH___Hiwula

Subs: Addai; Davies; Grimmer; Doyle; Westbrooke; Allassani; Chaplin

I'm going, 600 mile round trip.

We nearly won there in the league one year, think Plymouth equalised in the 97th minute.

One of Hiwula or Chaplin to be left out. Probably Hiwula as he is very poor at retaining possession. I'd bring Mason or Brown in.

I had forgotten Impey ended his career with us. Deffo more of a winger than a full back.

I find his career fascinating. Started at St Étienne. Made his debut alongside Edgar Davids, Gianluca Zambrotta and Antonio Conte for Juventus against Arsenal in the Champions League. Never played for them again. Went on loan from Juventus to Portsmouth in Division One (lolz, you can guess who Pompey’s manager was from that) and scored 9 times in that season including one against us (obviously). This meant he actually scored 17.3% of his total career goals, against us, in just two games. He scored two to send Pompey top with just two games to go. Redknapp signed him permanently on huge wages, he played just 12 times but didn’t score another goal for the next 2 years (obviously). After a few more transfers he fittingly finished his career at a club called Moneyfields (perfect club for his Pompey boss).

Sorry if that seems off topic but I must say that despite that dismal record, him being unfit and retired for years, even he would’ve bagged that chance we had on Saturday.

I’ve tried to forget.
