Only about 3 weeks ago the talk on here was of a relegation dogfight.
Could still happen but more likely is mid to lower table.
Just look at our goal difference. Highest club with a minus difference.
Other teams are winning 3-0 at home; we scrape a draw against the bottom club.

Given the gulf now on this league I would say staying in this league is an achievement, we are as many points from playoff place and relegation , regroup and push on next season

Doncaster away last game of season...

If we can just hang on to 7th/8th place till then , love to go there 2 points behind them (them in 6th) . Fancy we would do them with our suport.

All hypothetical of course.

The top 6 all won bar pompey who are prob out of reach. We messed up sat

Nothing a 5 game win streak cannot correct though...

We definetly need a bit of a run of wins to get into a playoff place. Our results from the 2nd half of the season has, so far, mirrored the 1st half of the season in league points.

If we can put together another run of 4 to 5 wins soon we will be back in the hunt for playoff place with momentum on our side.

As things stand at the moment though it does look like we will finish in the top half of the table outside the playoff places unless there is an increase in performance.

Not even increase in performance, we need goals. So many games have slipped away due to us not taking the chances or even 1 or bloody 2. Saturday will be an indication of whether we can get going or not. Bright full week training with the team and chances will come in front of goal

Looks like its only gonna be 6th place that potebtially will not have a big points haul. We need to get into gear and outdo likes of pboro donny and blackpool

BURTON h
Fleetwood h
Peterborough a
Oxford h

I think we need 8-9 points there including beating Peterborough

That should put us within punching distance of Doncaster and close with Peterborough

We need to win all games in March to have a strong chance.
And they are all teams around us so we can take points from them if we win the next 4.

I can’t see us doing it but if we are still mathematically in it with 5 games to go I think regardless of what happens we can call this a really good season for the club....... footballwise obvs

With away trips to Peterboro, Barnsley, Pompey and Sunderland it’s a very big ask.....

However, it’s not impossible and two home wins would put us well in the mix.

We will definitely lose some games but don't need too many draws in the other games.
I think Bright has made a big difference since he came. Has changed our way of playing. I think this is the way Robins has always wanted to play but never got the number 10 he wanted.

If and it is a massive if, we are to do it we need to win all the home games. It then comes down to can we take anything off the others in the away games. Every game away is against a top 6 side. Very tough ask, but I personally feel slightly more confident now than a few weeks ago. 2 draws away may be enough with 6 home wins.
