one of the nationals this week? saying they are losing 4 or 5 of their best players - can't afford to keep them or compete with wage offers. Thought the biggest rugby business in Europe wouldn't have this problem :)

When I got back to the car that rubbish was on the radio so I had to switch to fm, the guy that rang in just as they gave out the score saying he was pleased they were losing was great.

Taken from drunken wasps

why are our best players, whose careers have been built at Wasps, not more loyal to the Club, and don’t buy into a culture akin to Sarries and Wasps

Hilarious the club isn’t even loyal to its city or its real fans and they expect players to be loyal.

If they got relegated imagine the crowds then, it would also be a good time for the other clubs to close the trap door so they can’t get back as I can’t imagine they are massively popular

Thought there was some new Rugby investors (the old F1 owners) and they wanted to scrap promotion/relegation

Highly unlikely to happen to say the least but it would be hilarious if Wasps got relegated and then they stopped promotion and relegation and split up the new money among all the clubs still in the top tier.

Be even better if coventry got promoted and wasps went the other way and the trap door shut

This is the type of verbiage that makes them so popular I guess:

Or is it something even more fundamental - no one likes Coventry?

The ground is undoubtedly one of the best in the premiership. You do not have to live in Coventry to play for wasps, not that I feel it is such a bad place. I’m sure with the money the Wasps players are on, they can afford to live in the more plush areas of Leamington etc. And with the training facilities being developed in this area, they only have to travel to Coventry for the games, I assume.

Well they are free to fuck off whenever as the sensible people in Coventry don’t want them

Here’s a snippet for everyone to wet themselves over.

I was randomly talking to someone who’s works occasionally at the Ricoh as a contractor and he recons that the new gossip inside ACL is that Richardson is becoming more and more desperate to find an exit strategy and the sooner the better.

cant beleive ccfc existence has come down to a game of chicken

if wasps are looking to leave then keeping ccfc income wont really matter to them will it?! could be bad for us
