London Wasps have a list of sponsors and partners on their website, I’ve taken all of these and found a contact email address. It might do no good but I will be emailing each of them to either inform them that I will be taking my business elsewhere or refusing to consider using them in the future if they continue to be affiliated with an organisation that is threatening to put an historical sporting institution out of business. We know that London Wasps are on perilous financial ground and any unwanted attention on companies dealing with them might put some pressure (no matter how small) on them to come to the table.

If you know of any addresses better than the ones I’ve come up with then let me know and I’ll edit. Also given more time I could give a small roundup of what the company provides so you can customise an email or even come up with templates for each one to send out.

It’s something we can all do sat on our arse that might do something.

People should also start sending correspondence to the wasps funded city of culture committee and suggest removing culture isn’t a great starting point

Do you really think they care or give any care about CCFC? PERSONALLY I don’t!

Love it.

However, these are going to fall into the inbox of some office monkey who's just above min wage and couldn't give 2 hoots either way.

I should be finished work early tomorrow and will have a look for email addresses to board members, directors, etc

Just an idea but should this be a standardised email? If someone articulate posts their email on here we can all just copy and paste and press send. This serves two purposes-
1) it will make sense 2) its easier so more people are likely to send it.
Obviously people can add to the email if they want.

Any letter does have to make it clear that CCFC are the victims here. Sisu are the owners and obviously the dispute is between Sisu, the council and then in turn Wasps.

We need to make sure we express that the football club is the one that is going to get hurt here. It's not going to hurt Sisu being kicked out.

I don’t think Ricoh arena will give a shit! Plus you have to consider that some of these might be contractual long term deals so they are hardly going to walk away.

Monkeys and organ grinders come to mind here but admire the effort but I think the pressure need to be at wasps and more importantly sisu

Doesn't make it a waste of time. If someone like JLR were to start asking questions of Wasps upper management it would have an impact. Must be a lot of Cov fans employed at JLR, maybe they should give their employer some feedback.

Heard yesterday from. Cov Rugger fan that all premiership rugby clubs are likely to get a £20 million injection as some company has bought a % of image rights so regretfully parasites have a short term fix to their money woes

And how much is the owner now owned? If I was in his position unless I was a die hard fan I'd be seriously thinking about getting my money back and getting out. Losing money, falling crowds and now a deal which will, after the short term boost, mean they have less money coming in every year.

Here's the letter:

You better stop sponsoring the cuckoo cunts. Or else.

Am I only the one that logged in expecting to see pictures of some hotties?

This is a good idea but we should take it further by refusing to use the casino especially on match day or use the hotel etc

I would be surprised if the casino hadn't already had words with Wasps. 23 plus match days lost with thousands of people attending who like a pint or two would be a significant loss for them. There's probably a financial penalty in the casino's favour if Wasps manage to lose that much business. Same for all the F&B deals they've done, no way anyone has signed up on fixed terms without any security over a big chunk of sales.

Wouldn’t stop away fans though
The not that many use it.
Now if we were to get promoted with all the big sides in the championship now that would be a big loss, if we were not at the Ricoh.
That has to be the best way, get promoted and everyone will lose big time could they all turn a blind eye then?

Thing is if you were getting a Jag or a Range you still would, but smaller businesses and local issues we can have more influence on. Easy to switch from Npower, not use Majestic Wines, Heineken is horrible anyway (apart from the premium version not brewed here) and plenty of solicitors not to use Wright Hassall. That should be a given for all of us.

The bigger things we can collectively do are harder for people, but we need to be strong. Difficult if your favourite band are playing at the venue most local to you, but there would be nothing better than seeing real low crowds there at their events. Whatever it is, if its the casino you use, then use a different one, if theres something at the exhibition hall, don't go. The only option we can exercise within the law is to hit them in the pockets but when doing so, ensure they know exactly why. It's a shame for eg those exhibiting whatever it may be, but hopefully they will understand the reason and take their exhibitions elsewhere too.

If anyone can get some email addresses for anyone due there or alternatively who has in the past (as they're likely to be repeat customers) then get something out to them and advise that the people of Coventry and surrounding area who support the club will not be attending their events. At the very worst they will hit the arena for discounted options for potential distress and that will have an effect, as will higher police and stewarding at events if we publicise likely disruption.

Get the point but most on here and city fans do not make up the majority of events and co at the ricoh. I bet 1% at most of this forum went to the spice girls etc so in truth its not going to make a dent. Personally I would be happy to do this but in reality we are a very small grouping against the city of Coventry and wider WM. Still the fact that most are not blaming CCC or Wasps, there is only SISU to blame.

JLR have pulled out of the sponsorship deal with them thank god.
