I can't remember blaming last for that personally?

Yep, I'm a football fan so I discuss things that happen in the games. I haven't rocked up at mark Robins house with a placard. Id do that whoever owned us, whatever league we were in and would discuss the positives and negatives of the game

According to the logic you can't say anything unless you apply for the board or do it yourself, why aren't the trust starting their own team for you to support?

Last was one of the ring leaders in the whistle protest as everyone knows.

I know what your problem is and it’s obvious really. You’re worried that if we protest to Wasps and get a positive result from doing so it means that they pay more attention to CCFC fans than SISU do. You’re worried that SISU look like the bad guys and Wasps look like the good guys in comparison to SISU. Pretty sad stance to take Nick. How about you put the club first? Given that you’re apparently a football and CCFC fan.

I would probably expect Wasps to pay more attention to things like that than SISU, as I have said endless times that SISU don't give a shit. I'm not the one who discussed speaking / action against wasps, went to a meeting with them and then did a 180 am I? Who's more worried?

I do put the club first and foremost, hence I have said whether Wasps, the council, SISU, Hoffman, AN Other own us then I would still go and support the club.

Good to see you have resorted to making things up though.

Slips a dig in at the Trust as a distraction. Must have touched a nerve as you felt the need for a distraction. Usual Nick tactic.

Not too sure how it's a distraction, you made something up. I told you how it was incorrect and that I've consistently said that SISU don't care, I then told you that somebody you won't have a bad word said against does seem genuinely worried to aim anything at Wasps.

You aren't making any sense. You are trying to play the "SISU Lover" card and it hasn't worked.

To be fair, the Trust did do something Nick. They successfully alienated themselves from me after I joined, and arguably the club itself.

In order to achieve anything in life; you have to communicate effectively and be able to negotiate, (sometimes with people you don’t particularly like, and with people that don’t always return the favour). I personally felt that didn’t happen from the beginning...which was also when I felt there was a chance.

I haven’t tried to play any cards, probably best you stop accusing people of making things up when you’re so blatantly doing it yourself.

Fact is you’re all over the place. You’re saying it won’t achieve anything in one sentence then acknowledging in the next that it’s likely to be more successful than protesting to SISU in the next. Try making some sense yourself before you accuse others of not making any.

You made your theory up to try and play the "SISU Lover" card, that's why I pointed it out.

It isn't all over the place, saying that you writing to an MP won't achieve something isn't the opposite of me saying Wasps would be more likely to listen / humour the fans than SISU. How does that contradict anything?

I was actually pointing out that you’re as impotent in protesting to Wasps as you are SISU when it comes to protesting for CCFC. You’re making things up if you think otherwise.

You are all over the place. You say you’ve congratulated me on my efforts in one breath and then take the piss calling me a suffragette in the next. You brought up the council house protest saying people know you couldn’t have made it because of the time change as if you were ever going to go and then in the next breath say you don’t protest because you’re a football fan not a protester. I’m sure I could go on if I could be arsed. Pick a version of events and stick to it, there’s a good fella.

This was your made up "SISU Lover" theory. It wasn't saying I am impotent in protesting, it was trying to make out I am worried in case it makes Wasps look good and SISU look bad.

I didn't congratulate you, I said fair play to you for trying. I then call you a suffragette when you start going off on one like you are a hero and are saving the world. It's when you start making things up that you start losing track.

I mentioned the council house because if anybody ever says anything about the Trust and Wasps that is the default answer "nobody turned up".

I have been consistent. I have said it since the start that the only way people agree is to make it about pro CCFC than anti anybody else which would send more of a statement. Whilst it still wouldn't achieve getting SISU out, it would still at least make people realise they are all on the same side a bit more when they stop to think about why they are angry.

That’s your immigration working overtime. I’m not going to keep arguing with you. You’ve distracted enough now from those of us being reactive and proactive to our situation. I’ll leave you to your impotent negativity although no doubt you’ll continue to argue with yourself because Nick is never wrong.

What are you on about now?

It was your imagination saying that I would worry about anything against Wasps in case they listened to the fans and it showed SISU up.

Has anyone seen the story that Mike Ashley is looking to buy a fallen Midlands giant if he can sell Newcastle!

Surely not.....................
I made that rumour up yesterday. :emoji_expressionless:

Nope, I have praised them in the past. Driven nowhere near as many divisions as some of the people you claim to be trying things.
There you go again.

“I do put the club first” seems a strange statement when you condemn the actions of other people who are also “Putting the club first” by trying to do something against or regarding the cockroaches at the helm. :emoji_thinking:

Probably more around discussions about whether to proceed or not and waiting on legal advice. As much as I hate SISU, I don’t think they are doing it to deliberately annoy the supporters
As far as I can remember their appeals have always been on the deadline day. The fact that they got the club to point out that their deadline had not passed as had been reported would indicate that they knew full well what they were going to do. Do you really see Seppala and co huddled with their lawyers on deadline eve saying will we or won’t we? I think this is their ongoing strategy; to frustrate, annoy and irritate as much as possible as well as prolonging the whole process by waiting until the last possible day.

I think it could well be done by design but equally they might just wait until the final day so that they can include/adapt whatever they submit to court. I'm unsure exactly how it works but I'd think it possible that they'd want to wait until the last second to ensure their submission is as up to date as possible.

Of course there's also the distinct possibility they're just being wankers.

"and most importantly our supporters."

stopped reading after that bit, as clearly we aren't "most importantly"
How on earth can any supporter not agree with that statement, if not the Ricoh where do you want us to play?

"This deal for the club to play at the Ricoh Arena is in the best interests of the Football Club, Wasps, Ricoh Arena and the wider community – and most importantly our supporters."

I suspect you’re confusing agree with believe. I agree with it, but if Tim or Joy made the statement I wouldn’t believe it.

What an absolute cop out.

Question: At the meeting of full council 9th September, 2014, when the sale was unanimously agreed, councillors debated the following:
The commitment that any deal relating to the Ricoh Arena would not be approved unless the following three tests were satisfied:
(1) A good deal for the City
(2) The security and future of Coventry City Football Club
(3) The security and future of Coventry Rugby Club

The then council leader Anne Lucas said at the press conference announcing the sale on October 8, 2014: “This deal would not have happened if it threatened the future of the Sky Blues or Coventry Rugby Club.”

Is the council satisfied these tests are still being met? Does the council have any powers to enforce these?

Joint statement from Cllr George Duggins, Leader of Coventry City Council and Cllr Gary Ridley, Leader of the Opposition Conservative Party, Coventry City Council: “Back in 2014, Coventry City Council was very clear that the existing tenancy the football club had to play at the Ricoh Arena must be honoured as part of any sale to Wasps.

“This tenancy had four years to run and the length was negotiated by the football club as its intention was to then move to a new stadium. As a result, this 2014 pledge was fulfilled by both Coventry City Council and Wasps.

Funnily when they said they mentioned the security and future of the club was a 'pro' for selling the ricoh to wasps they failrd to specify what thet really meant was only for that current 4 year deal only......I wonder why??
