Anyone any idea why our insurance policy plan increases because we have had our dog spayed?
We have the policy and it's due for renewal. Just checked it over and it says 'dog not spayed.' She wasn't when we got her and took the policy out, but she has been spayed since.
We pay £26 a month. I asked if it changed the policy with her having been done, expecting it to be less, but the advisor said 'No, it will be more, not less. This will now increase it to £29 a month.'
Thought having her spayed would most likely mean less chance of vet treatment as she wouldn't have any pregnancy difficulties etc.
Bit puzzled. Anyone enlighten me?
Just did a quick Google search and cannot see anything saying your payment plan would increase.
