Notice that the 12-match package is cheaper than it was for 17/18 which is a lovely surprise, there was no difference in £ per game last season between the 6 and 12

I went with the match package option last season for the first time so I'm doing it again this year, it's so much easier than the headache I was half expecting. The only minor convenience was having to go to the Butts on a weekday to buy it, but absolute breeze otherwise.

Been having a few problems with my legs and only made a handful of games last year,
It’s not so much the game but the traveling/ driving that can be problematic.
Could anyone tell me if match packages are available throughout the season, I’m very
Interested in risking the 6 match package for me and my lad ‘and if problem free would
Want to buy another one, also if I struggle to attend can you give them away to someone

It's not that much more expensive for the season ticket and with that you get 12 more games (if you get the cup game again) and all the added benefits of being able to pick up away tickets etc. I can't attend every game because of the distance but a ST still looks by far the better option

Good deal. Discount for 12 match package makes sense.

Thank goodness they've made this change too -

"Unlike previous seasons, you do not receive a physical match package voucher – instead you receive credits against your supporter profile which you can then use when selecting your match tickets – either online, in person or over the phone"

I'm fairly certain they remain on sale until the point they no longer make sense when there's only a handful of games to go.

Why did you have to go to the Butts? I did all mine online.

So does that mean you can still alocate more than 1 per match?

For the benefit of a couple of posters who when can’t/won’t concede a point like to pull the “you don’t even go to games card” I will once again be buying a 12 match package same as always, going to all cup games I can physically get to (usually mid week games) regardless of the prestige of said cup, probably throw a couple more home league games in when my match package has run out and maybe an away game or two.

you can use match package online

just select your seat and when it comes to choosing adult junior etc you choose the package optiona t bottom where it will say price £0.00

then they post ticket out

or do you mean you had to go butts when you decided on day of game you wanted to go?

edit-ffs should read all of threa dbefore replying. yeah NUS thing is silly, should ask for it once and then put it against your name that you have shown proof

It was just the single visit that I had to make in order to buy the package, after that doing the actual match ticket part was all online as normal, didn't need to keep going back or anything.

I’ve tweeted the club to see if they can give 12 match package holders priority over 6 match packages when away tickets are in high demand.

I think it will help sales, and be fairer to those who commit to more matches, as last year was a dog fight for so many matches due to the ‘free-for-all’ sale dates.

Last year I only had a 6 match package but attended 10 home and 10 away (I live 70 miles away), but would up to 12 match package if this is done

You can buy one per person, I initially bought a 6 match package for my dad under his name and then bought another one for him to use under my name, if you wanted you could get a 6 and a 12.

It's a couple hundred more, isn't it?

What if somebody buys two lots of 6 packages?

£96 for an additional 12 games and top priority on everything. Plus you can pay £30 a month.

I very nearly got one before the early bird deadline but when you put it like that it's very tempting!! The drive up from Brighton is a pain but very tempted

It’s probably £35 a month now early bird is over. When I’ve got the ticket I’m more likely to drag myself up there as I feel I’m missing out otherwise.
