The only bit that confuses me is as to which timeline we are in sometimes, i,e, just before the uprising or just after the uprising.

Other than that I get it.

Yeah, a bit of a diversion in many ways, but it was a good episode.

You can see how they can stretch this to several seasons can't you. It's so epic and spread across so many different worlds and so rich in characters too.
