£22 adults, £15 concessions, £10 U18s, £5 U16s, free for U13.
6 match pack is £108, 12 matches is £216.
So for an adult taking 2 kids u13 its actually slightly cheaper than going to the cinema....

Guy on the radio after the match yesterday was saying that for him and he's two kids to go by the time they've paid parking, everyone wants something to drink etc. It's way over £50 for a family afternoons out. That's not a cheap afternoon out for your average family so he simply can't afford to do it every home game or as many as they'd like. That is where the club is losing out on the current on the current price structure, repeat business or to be more precise, the regularity of that repeat business.

Why doesn't he take sweets, crisps, chocolate and cartons of juice from home? That's what I do. Plenty of parking for as cheap as a fiver. Not knowing their ages but if u13 and you make them jsbs you could do it for £30.

£22 adult ticket.
£0*2 kids tickets
£5 parking
£3 programme

Total £30.

About the same price as going to the cinema these days !!

So take drinks in, get them in the jsbs and get a match package.

If price was a factor, I wouldn't go to the cinema and spend silly money on drinks and sweets. I'd also pre book to save a bit of money, go to Tesco for sweets and walk 10 minutes and park for free.

Why didn't he get a season ticket for £300 then two free JSB tickets then? £13 a game and still cheaper if he didn't go to them all. There are ways to do it much cheaper but prices rise on the day and its peoples own fault if they chose the most expensive option.

What cinemas are you going to? Two adults and two children under 13 (i.e. Me, the wife and kids) went to watch the emoji movie this morning for £10. OK it was the cheap Sunday morning show but we would only have one pay option for a one off visit to watch CCFC and it would be five times + that unless your kids are JSB's. Plenty of families can afford to go on the day to the cinema, same can't be said of CCFC and the club is losing out because of it. People can try to sugar coat it all they like but families are either not going or not going as much as they would like and it's down to one thing and one thing only.

So sign them up to jsbs? It's the whole idea of things like that.

It's not down to cost only at all, plenty of families do go. Plenty of families will find ways to make it cheaper and not many of those there every week Will hammer the kiosk for sweets and drinks every game. They all seem to take it with them.

There isn't just one pay option for ccfc.

Which is a valid question. Don't know the answer to it but you can only assume he's not aware of the savings to be had. Partly his fault for not putting the leg work in but also lets not kid ourselves that the club has a good track record on marketing and promoting the club. Especially to families and value for money.

I assume that the special saturday/sunday morning kids showing at £2.50 each?

The cost or a normal showing for example to go and see Goodbye Christopher Robin, would be around £9 for an adult and about £7 per child u15.

No ones sugar coating it all, people are just saying that costs isnt the major factor for the low crowds and are suggesting that a drop in price won't lead to a huge increase in attendance's. I have already said the pay on the day surcharge is wrong and should be stopped.

I think we all agree there is an issue with the price of football across the board, but that needs to be tackled by the FL and FA.

Which people can choose to pay or choose to wait for it to be available on the Sunday morning showings and that's the point. At the cinema through the advent of marketing you have choice. We don't always wait for a film to become available on the cheap show but we know we have the choice and the quality of the film dictates our decision making because kids will want to watch any crap where as me and the wife as adults can decide if the film looks like torture we'll wait until it's on the cheap viewing.

As a family you don't get that choice at football. It's on when it's on, there's no waiting for the cheap showings. Which means that the club has to be smarter in it's marketing especially where families are concerned. Yes the JSB memberships etc are good value for money but the promotions don't seem to be hitting their target audiences from what was being said on the radio last night after the game. That needs addressing if attendances are to rise. Especially in this sector.

Blackburn was kids for £1. A cheap showing.

If people are wanting to moan about price as a reason not to go, they don't usually listen to ways to be cheaper. The same as they always include getting food and drink into their pricing, to make it as high as possible.

If people really want to take their kids but only price stopping them, there are plenty of ways to do it cheaper. It even says on the pricing tables it's £0 if a jsb.

Not everyone has a satdee free every week so a season ticket is out of the question. I agree it far to expensive and to have so many seats empty is criminal business wise. £15 a throw and say £5 for kids is what it should be. Football is habitual and the sooner clubs recognise this the better. If not we wouldn't have 500 fans let alone 6000 hard core with our success rate.

Don't know why we're having this discussion. 2015/16 ticket prices were slashed, matchday tickets were £20 on the gate or £18 in advance.

Average attendance only increased by 3K over the previous season meaning we generated less revenue. That despite the team flying and being top of the league at one point and scoring for fun.
What a weak case that was, your deliberately forgetting that crowds plunged with the demise in form after Xmas. With some investment that January and a continuation of good football crowds would have averaged a lot higher.

So you choose the best value option for your family .

You can do the same at cov games.

Trust me, rock up on a Saturday afternoon with 2 kids at the cinema, buy popcorn and pop and you won't get any change out of £30

That's where a match package comes in if money is an issue.

If pricing is the only thing stopping people there are ways to get it cheap.

Family of 4 voucher for 22 a game, three of those for signing up as a jsb..

Two jsb's and an adult ticket before hand, take your kids pop and crisps and all in it will be £27, and that includes buying the pop and crisps

It can be done, people would just rather moan.

Blackburn really isn't a good example. Aside from the fact it was a cup game that many season ticket holders couldn't be bothered with, I like many others was away on my family holiday at the time so it was always going to struggle for numbers.Try doing it for a Saturday afternoon game during the school term and if the take up results are the same as the Blackburn game you'll have a point.

The club has to get better at marketing, especially to families. It's too easy to say people don't listen. If the marketing isn't reaching it's target audiences it's usually down to the marketing not the audiences which aren't being targeted when they should be.

Which is still £20 less than rocking up at CCFC on a Saturday afternoon. You can practically do the cinema twice for one visit to CCFC on that basis and for some families it's an easy choice.

They do kids for a quid games usually during the season too.

What's it being a cup game got to do with it? If people are desperate to watch ccfc but can't afford it why not go?

People have to be willing to listen and take marketing on board though don't they? Instead they just go on about sisu being desperate if they put an offer on.

Having a child ccfc fan the marketing is decent, she got a letter from "Mark robins" saying happy birthday and he hopes she will be there to support ccfc next season.

Parents have to be slightly open to it too instead of ranting about the most extreme options. If I want to do something but price is an issue I look at cheaper ways to do it, things that could be sacrificed (pricey food and drink etc) to get the price down. That's not just ccfc but in general.

Yes marketing and communications can't be faulted - it's improved massively from the past.

Me and the wife went to the showcase last saturday night to watch kingsman 2, it was 20 quid for the 2of us the Odeon was only 7.50 so that is real value for money.
Reclining seats and everything:)

Well compare it to that then not a midweek cup game.

Being a cup game had everything to do with it considering that the crowd was 5K down on the Notts County game. Unless you're suggesting that it only effected every demographic of supporters other than parents with kids?

The marketing needs to be targeted. Putting the details on the clubs website and expecting people to find it without prompting is lazy marketing at best. You seem to be confusing pricing with serious marketing. We don't do serious marketing.

Why are you bringing SISU into it? I haven't heard anyone bring SISU into the equation other than you. You're not attempting to change the subject are you? Just asking.

Can't remenber if its all tickets or just a flat fee. Sack the programme off or find somewhere free to park and its still £30 max, not £50+ as suggested by the guy on the phone on.

Quite, I get absolutely nothing from the club. I had season tickets for 20 years ! I haven't moved house in that time either. It's take it or leave it with the muppets running CCFC, no attempts to increase revenue.

Strange how it's only certain people who hear nothing, they send multiple emails every week.
