I'm not sure why you see him as some sort of leading attraction? Strange dongo posting mode again.

I assume you believe the site is less interesting with the likes of him posting on it?
At least try and be genuine in your posting.

Posters are pretty much the only attraction on a forum TBF.

Well, since you cancelled the variety show.

It doesn't take a genius to know that TBF. He knows it as well. Yet strange posting when I point out. That to hound the likes of Simon out. Makes a thread interesting for a day or two but the whole site less interesting in the long term when they are gone.

majority of posters decide to take micky out of simon because hes not a nice guy

you should ask yourself why you are standing up for bad people

Why is it any less interesting? He's not even their sports journalist is he? He doesn't offer any insight into anything does he?

Also when you have posters on here like PWKH is that actually useful? He has a specific agenda and will use his knowledge of areas we know nothing about to exploit that. Isn't there allegations he then resorted to a fake account in addition to promote his views via an apparant "supporter" account? That's manipulation isn't it?

In fact the only time I'd say there was any interest was when Linnell came on here. Like or not he's far more skilled at getting debate and discussion going. Gilbert offers none of that. He's just an irrelevance.

But he's not saying he should be awarded star poster award, just that whether you like it or not
He's involved with what's going on at the club like we all are, and therefore will have opinions.
This is a forum for such people so why hound him out.
Also find it a bit strange that the same people who frown and look down on people who maybe
Get a bit personal and engage in changing people's names for comedy (childish affect) are all
Over it when it comes to Giblet sorry Gilbert.

Bit like you calling me dull Tony but replying to every post I make.

Says the man who replies to every post I make. Anyway I don't think you're an irrelevance, I just think you're an idiot. If you were an irrelevance I wouldn't reply to you or mention you ever. The fact that you do exactly that with an "irrelevance" like Simon Gilbert just confirms you're an idiot. Still you must have been delighted when he noticed you yesterday and replied to you.

I'm not giving up yet, gut who told me last week was sitting with the Hoff at Wembley and made it clear Hoff was just the intermediary, these things take time, in Hoff we trust.

does anyone know hoffman personally?

as i have a friend who has links to club and always says their is stuff going on but when asked for any sort of details says "i cannot comment" . i think hes just pretending to know juicy stuff personally.

hope hoffman is not like that!

So I take it you just ignored Simon Gilbert and PWKH when they were on here then? No thought not.
Having a different opinion to you that you do not like. Does not equate to someone having no insight.
I am quite confident that Simon has access to people that are able to confirm or deny rumours quite quickly.
Just as Les does. Yes those people will use it as chance to get out their own message.
However I am quite capable of making up my own mind in what they say.
That's the point idiots hound them out so those that are interested in what they have to say in order to debate with them sensibly don't get the chance.
What happened to Linnel posting on here? Was he hounded out as well?
Get as many people like that posting on here as possible.
Stop hounding them out.
Regarding the fact he isn't the sports journalist. Unfortunately bar our trip to Wembley and repeated relegations, the biggest things that happen to CCFC in recent years happen off the pitch not on.

I would not be surprised if Elliot and Hoffman were putting a plan in place for when the time comes where they have to pick up the pieces and try and save CCFC.

Exactly just telling him to F off, then aload of others just childishly goading. When he finally comes back on here. These are people who intimate that he left the site due to some conspiracy between CET and CCC so why are they not taking the chance to ask him straight out about that?
Bizzare

Bad people? Is Simon the child catcher?
Is Tim Fisher or Les Reid a bad person. I would stick up for them as well if they came on here under their real names and just got abused and hounded out.
It is the same mentality people moan about when Tim Fisher attends a meeting and some idiots just shout him down so no real debating occurs

Has it happened yet? It isn't going to happen is it...

Yeah childish goading.

Telling former players they may injure a fingernail and be out for 6 months

Telling former player they are from Canley so can handle themselves

Chief Dave I believe has raised the other issue - no response wasn't it?

His first post was giving it canleymegabollocks and he rightly got told to fuck off. Any criticism of him and it's all 'tin foil hat' etc. He's like a teenager. I told him to fuck off. I stand by it. But if he wants to post on here he can fill his boots.

And hopefully he'll eventually understand it's not 'skybluestalk' or 'twitter' or 'facebook' that has a problem with the way he conducts himself. It's actual people who happen to use those mediums to communicate.

And for clarity I'll say it again. I'm sure he's a decent bloke outside of his job in real life.

Careful what you say, you do know what the family trade is don't you :shifty:

If any poster is acting like a prick then I know enough people will not be shy is letting them know.
I also note that some posters have little black books ready to pull out posts from the last decade to make a point.
Viva la difference as they say in Canley.

Just had a text message from the person who gives me all my usual info

"I've been with Derek richardsons chauffeur today and paper in Hoffmanns hand was a contract for his daughter who has just signed for wasps netball !!! Sorry mate"

Obviously I apologies for the 10 threads of arguments , if anything does happen then il be as shocked as you all

Ooh i dunno. My daughter once had the chance to play netball at county level. Didn't involve a contract and a greasy spoon meeting with the county supremo and my netballing best mate holding the paperwork. Smoke screens and stealth technology i tells ya!
Well it was nice thinking there was some movement behind the scenes, ta for sharing anyway Evo and giving us some hope :)

What value does it bring compared to say osb etc? Obviously didn't give too much value to the Facebook forum...

I'd say people who post with an agenda are less valuable than actual city fans.

He hasn't been banned has he?

It's a forum for city fans, has he been on here much talking about players or matches?

I dunno, I kind of like the behind the scenes people popping up. Sure, they have an ulterior motive, but then that's obvious and you still get more than silence. Think don's right, it's the same as Fisher being barracked at the trust meeting - kind of understandable, but also understandable when it means you learn nothing!

There were a couple of times it was illuminating to ask PWKH questions, for example, and see his answers (or lack of)...
