Has anybody here renewed their season ticket with a disability and could you tell me how much they cost as I cannot see the price anywhere

I was advised earlier that concessions only apply for under 21s and over 60s, but as I didn't ask about disabled fans it's hopefully not the case.

I'd send an email to [email protected] (for some reason this differs slightly from the email address on the site, but they seem to be quicker to reply with this one. I got a reply within a few hours)

It's ok , club just told me on Twitter that my dad is 58 with a disability , he now has to pay full adult price because he doesn't have a wheelchair (has a stick ) which wasn't the case last season or the seasons before that , it's a new thing , so his ticket is going up over 110 pound this year , great news

Surely if registered disabled that's enough?

Club stated if no wheelchair you pay full price for age band , I'm baffled and a bit pissed off tbh

They say you get a carer free but what if you don't have a carer ? Not everybody with a disability has a carer

Sounds like somebody has got wires crossed within club and shop. I'm sure this will be found to be incorrect info and the club will have to fall into line with the disabled rules and regs.

Would like to think it's a mistake, that's awful.

I'm sure the % of registered disabled fans in wheelchairs is smaller than not.

Evans1883 Hi Craig. Wheelchair disabled is concession rate, ambulant disabled is charged at relevant age band #pusb

Ambulant means anything other than wheelchair basically

Shocking. hope it's the person wrong.

Could try kieren? If he hasn't gone yet.

Surely somebody else on here will have tried for a disabled person?

they are definitely charging ambulant at full cost or did my mum this afternoon at butts park
I'm sure I saw something the other day about having to go in with paper work?

Can anybody in the scg get in touch with them to confirm or see what's going on?

What happens if somebody is severely mentally disabled but not in a wheel chair?

From a quick google, the club appears to be coming in line with elsewhere

For example, it is the same at Derby http://www.dcfc.co.uk/tickets/disabled_supporters_tickets/

if thats been derby's policy all along its fair enough but the fact city are trying to change theirs to now say ambulant are not as disabled as wheel chaired having said for the past 8 seasons sisu have been here they are turns it into discrimination against ambulant disabled their logic might be sound but the law is the law

Being registered disabled doesn't necessarily mean you aren't working does it? They don't give concessions for the unemployed either so maybe they're trying to get everything consistent. Be interesting to see what they say.

When people hold up Bradford City as saints... http://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/fans/disabled-supporters/

"BCFC does not offer concessions to spectators in wheelchairs; all tickets are charged at the price appropriate to the stand in which spectators in wheelchairs are accommodated including, where appropriate, concessions for children and/or senior citizens."

tbf though their full price adult season ticket is probably cheaper than most concessions season tickets of other other clubs.
