Joins Blackburn after being released from Barnsley.
Fair play to him for living off those couple of years a Norwich still to keep churning out contracts.

Lambert's manager... Which I didn't actually know till 15 minutes ago! I'm guessing that has a bit to do with it though.

Indeed, confidence is key to a player's game, especially a centre forward. Jackson really isn't a bad striker, hopefully he finds some form at Blackburn.

Can't say I'm too bothered if he does or doesn't actually rather he didn't, one less ex forward to worry about next season when we play Blackburn in the championship & we are on our promotion charge part 2!

That's a lot of if's and but's, who says he'll be with Blackburn next season? Who says we're definitely 100% going up?

Even if all transpires well for us, I still hope Jackson finds some form and regains his confidence. He didn't dishonour the club or incite the fans in his time here, he was a bit of a forlorn figure most of the time.

For me, it's pretty sad seeing a footballer lose his passion and confidence.

Yup. I'd sooner have him as an option than Fortune

Jackson was poor. The funniest memory of him was vs Worcester when he had a 5 yard head start on 35 year old lumbering centre back Wayne Thomas, and Thomas caught him and tackled him.

I wish him well but let's not kid ourselves, he was bloody awful.

7 in 18 games so far, which isn't bad.

Always mystified me why Pressley didn't play him more.

Thought he was in double figures least but still seemed to be in the Cody McDonald ilk of not that hard worker but a finisher, both here at times next to nothing was created though.
