Ever since Hoff said his consortium were waiting for administration I've wanted us to go into administration. If a deal can still be struck so that that doesn't have to happen then great.
Anything other than watching the club have its heart and soul ripped out - we're even starting to lose some of our die hard supporters now.
What I will never understand is how SISU expect this approach to be a success. I don't get what they are trying to do, and the blustery Mail interview with Ken where he claimed to be "very close" to having the cash to buy half of the stadium was laughably bullshit. So was his statement on the official site yesterday.
But what do they hope to achieve with all this posturing? Is it all a bid to hike the price up? How much do they want to
go away, as they are clearly not prepared to put any more money in-they must want out, as all they can do is lose money if they stay? Yet they talk as if they are going nowhere fast, which is certainly true of the club as a whole as long as they remain it's negligent custodians.
I hope they now realise that their gamble of Thorn working a miracle on a shoestring budget has failed, and that they need to get out. I hope they will now be prepared to come to the negotiating table with a clearer sense of perspective-they do
not, by
any means, "hold all the cards". If anyones balls should be in a vice, it's theirs. But they have "
balls of steel", remember, and I fear that they will somehow try to wrangle an unrealistic deal for themselves and negotiations will break down once again.
