Guessed it was going to be a tougher challenge than most expected. Great result but a real worry about Kelly. Him and Hamer are our midfield.

But 10 points away from Wycombe and 8 points away from the relegation zone. Yes, we're also 10 points off the playoffs but noone would say we're that good yet.

We made such hard work of that.

Dunno what was up with Shipley and if the change was due to injury why was he starting? if not got to be considered a poor decision by MR anyway. Didn't get involved at all.

Slow start and arguably a bit fortunate to go in two up and then brings on Baka instead of Max who's done well in previous games. Baka did next to nothing.

Another soft penalty lets them back in and we start dropping. Akinfenwa comes on and we don't defnd against him the way we've done so successfully against him in the past. No further changes until last minute and Biamou did more in that time than the rest of the attackers did all game.

Grateful for the 3 points but we didn't deserve them and we couldn't have complained if they'd scored a legit equaliser.

Trouble is they were poor and there to be beaten and we made a real job out of it.

Really got to hope Kelly isn't out for a while but given his record will probably be missing for a few weeks and we've got a lot of games in a short space of time.

Shipley subbed off after 30 mins, two goals from Kelly wins it, Akinfenwa the best striker on the pitch - exactly as I would’ve predicted it

Jesus. That was a hard watch from the joke of a penalty onwards.
Ref was shocking and having fans in was a factor. (Although offside looked tight!)

Think when Robins chucked Bakayoko on he thought we'd be comfortable. Offered nothing.

Up until that penalty we were, and should have put the game to bed. We didn't then it was squeaky bum time for half an hour

Think the volume of games has caught up with a number of them to be honest.

We were poor 2nd half, but a great three points.

Crucial win today. Thought we played reasonably well in 2nd half. Poor in first half. We’re a different team with Hamer in, clearly a class above.
Still think (maybe optimistically) that Sheaf is very good. I know he’s missed the last few games, but he needs to step it up. Could be without Kelly now for a couple games.
Play Biamou more and (although a clearly nice guy) Bakayoko less. We’re yet to harness his potential. Unfortunately we’ll probably have to call it quits with him soon.

Two of them should be doing a bit against a team like Wycombe. I think Robins is just trying to give some players a rest but Shipley was soo far off influencing anything he couldn't persist with him
I didn't even come into the season as a Shipley 'hater' but my God, at this level he offers absolutely nothing.

Wycombe fans can moan about an offside, they should moan more about their horrendous 1930s playstyle and attempting to shithouse results every week

Yea were lucky at the end but fuck it, evens out over a season
To be fair to Wycombe, lowest budget in the league, a very small club playing in a tough league, don’t think you can blame them for playing to their strengths.

Hung on there but saw it out. Tough three points well earned and nice to be on the right side of that type of game/result.

Hope Baka coming on ahead of Max was with a view to Max starting midweek. Love Gus in that defensive/holding role, he was our best player second half.
