Yes there is, the FSA. Their National Council includes former Trust secretary Roger Ellis.

Noticed on twitter that CJ and Roger were wishing each other a Happy New Year among with a certain Mr Fletcher

That's the issue with 20 regulars meeting now and again becomes an echo chamber!!
But the meetings are very infrequent these days, last one seems to have been 15th July (Key Points from the Open Discussion at the Sky Blue Trust AGM, 15th July, 2019 - see those points have all been addressed!), so the rest of the time its just the 4 or 5 people on the board. Not sure they ever even bothered to tell us who was on the board following the 'elections' last June. The only post on their website says who was nominated.

The elephant in the room is simply that the Ricoh was built for Coventry City Football Club but Coventry City Council have connived to sell it on generous terms (not the least of which is the length of the lease) to a formerly London-based rugby club. So there it stands, with its sky blue seats, while Coventry City have to play in Birmingham.

Anyone who purports to support CCFC and lends any tacit or overt sympathy to Wasps or the Council should hang their heads in shame. Like BBC CWR who interrupt the Sky Blues phone in to let Dai Young brag about turning the Ricoh into a fortress.
The whole thing is an absolute disgrace.

Would not surprise me that despite their denouncement of Mr Ellis, that he is still involved in the trust somehow. They are that much smoke and mirrors and secret handshakes and all, that we'll be none the wiser if he is....
Interesting that he is still part of the FSA.....Maybe drop them a line Grendel. ..

In my eyes, the only two things it had going for it was it was in Coventry and it was near the casino !!!

The club rented it and didn’t benefit from opportunity to earn income outside matchdays. We can’t have that going fwd if we are to compete, we need all the money we can get. Pitch is also shocking and ground is too big for us.

We have the 3 sites identified and whilst clearly an NDA is in place for the sites, nothing to stop the club updating us on process instead of the focus in print on Ricoh return. CCC have backed the horse that is wasps, so no reason why they should be worried about another stadium being built in cov.

We should FORGET The Ricoh - it’s gone!
It’s owned by an organisation we should all despise so let’s let them keep it and watch them drown in a stinking stew of their own making.
We should steel ourselves for the difficult journey to a new stadium we own outright and try & learn lessons for the future.
The council have to take a large proportion of the blame and maybe this whole debacle will blow up in their faces too!

Come out of your bedrooms, start leading normal lives and perhaps get other interests. I seriously worry about some on here’s mental stability

You were the poster who said we would have won Saturday’s game if it was an away one because the atmosphere was shite - despite us having a far better home record

Thanks for you email, we don’t currently have an open meeting planned at the minute, but the AGM will be in the summer in June/July.

I appreciate your email and the Trust have been trying to get Wasps to to relax their position, but in terms of getting them to drop the indemnity clause, is maybe beyond us. Wasps see their business being damaged deliberately by Sisu, and want reassurances for any deal.

When we first spoke to Wasps a deal was never going to happen, but we have softened their stance with our input, views and pleas. As things stand all parties have softened their positions with the exception of the club, if they’d only speak to us and allow us to bring all parties together.

In terms of the EU appeal, that cannot be ignored, the case is ongoing and the latest from Brussels is its under review, but with no date set for a decision.

If the case wasn’t there, there is nothing to stop a deal being done, regardless of any of the personalities involved in trying to strike a deal.

As a trust we just want the club back in Coventry!! And I know most fans to do!!

I hope that answers some of your questions

what do we think to that?

Why has nobody from the Trust publicly mentioned the indemnity?

All that is is a "look at how great we are and what we done".

They are shit scared of bad mouthing Wasps in public.

No doubt CJ will give it his "I hate Wasps" act.

They will have to if we take The Ricoh option away.
While that is there it’s a distraction we don’t need. Wasps will never let us have it on favourable terms so I say move on!

Ah, the old sky blue truss, eh? I have one around here somewhere...…….
.
Ah, here it is! Still works, as well!

I really didn't need to see that H!

Covered by an NDA probably.

It's crazy isn't it? All other parties have hid behind NDAs when it suits, including wasps last week when asked about indemnity but the Trust are happy to call for more transparency from the owners.

Wasps must be pissing themselves.

I can't get my head around the Trust at all. Wasn't Neil outed as saying fans were thick or idiots last year?

How come they enter into little to no dialogue on here? It makes sense that for anything to be succesful they've got to be open to debate and so on? They cant claim to represent the fans which such small numbers of membership compared to the amount of fans? Never see them at games? Never see them flyering or touting for memberships?

If that’s the line SBT has no chance.
