Not a single one of those likely to start tomorrow, and only two of that XI still at the club (with a combined 13 league appearances all season - all RCC).

Shame on the people running the club.

Well yep. You look at that team with Stokes and Vincelot and Fleck and Armstrong , Ben Turner and Murphy and you think, how the hell didn't we at least make the playoffs?

It is such a superior side to what we have now.

If beavons fit, id revert back to the formation and set up we deployed verses wycombe.

Haynes willis clarke DKE

I'd start Reid and Jones on the wings. tudgay in behind beavon and have reilly sitting in midfield.

Leaves us a few options on the bench to make a change as well.

I don't Slade is too keen on creative players.

However playing denials advocate
Would we have got them without Mowbray
I genuinely turner fit till the end of seasonwe would havegot there.,
That's the closest we have got

I'm quite looking forward tomorrow, hope the weather is like it was today, couple of goals and a win.

Watch Yakubu hench it up, no doubt a couple of comedy howlers from our players but if we win it's ok!

It's just a shame today that if we win today we can't catch upon all 4 teams above us.

Swindon v Oldham
Chesterfield v Bury
Port Vale v Bristol

Draws all round probably the best result, apart from a Bristol win.

Woke up, laid low by a heavy cold/virus that laid me low half way through the Wycombe game. Bad news - I'm going to miss the game (don't want Round 2 with St John's ambulance crew - and my mate won't be impressed if he misses part of a game again). Good news - we're now bound to win, as when I'm laid low (once) we always win!!

So if you ended up in a coma for 12 months we would walk the league next year?

Cheers for that thought Otis. Knowing my luck (as a City fan) it would be typical of me to miss out on us actually winning games regularly!

Shocking what we've been served up this term, seen it coming pre-season to be fair...

Team talk today needs to be on the lines of when we started the season with a 10 point deduction.. get yer fingers out yer arses and go and show the fans you can play football and you do have commitment and desire and start clawing those points back before its too late

speaking to a colleague from our head office in Kent today who's a Gills ST holder. He said he will be amazed if we don't take all 3 points.
I think he might not realise how bad we are!

Sounds like we just have to be less worse than them.

Is that possible?

Agreed - and keep concentration for a full 90 minutes PLUS injury time!

Small steps, in our position. Glorious win at Scunthorpe last game of the season and we stay up on goal difference.

Around £200K we've been told, but Tis a confused picture as TM either overspent his £2.3M allocation the previous season by roughly half a million or the gate receipts from the averaged 11K were half a million lower?
