Eviction notice (6 Viewers)

Just been on Midlands News Fraser group saying it offered ccfc a licence which mirrored the existing deal until the end of the season but club chose not to sign it, there’s a lot to come out yet. Perhaps questions need to be asked to Dave Boddy or Tim Fisher about what was said on Midlands ITN news.

I’ll worry when we are told we can’t play Swansea at the CBS on the 17th.
the existing deal ran well past the end of the season so why would they change it? that's a huge red flag. we've criticised the club many times over the years for short term deals that mean we have the same problem over and over again so not sure we can really now turn round and criticise the club for not signing a deal that only gives us a few months security.

the question is obviously now why are Frasers only prepared to offer a deal until the end of the season, what happens then?

How much
And what do people mean when they say get the club on the cheap?
How much is cheap?
no idea but we won't pay what we can't afford and fg won't want to lose a 52 week a year tenant who will them 20 events a year

if they do we'll have to loot his posh shop in town

Can’t go to Walsall on the 17th unless we play a double header as they are at home that day

Who's to say that they didn't do that and were knocked back by SISU and therefore the only course of action for Ashley was an eviction notice
I'm sure this will all come out in the wash
we are all just speculating

By signing a new lease if at same rate as before but ends in May 2023, means you agree that the old lease is no longer applicable.

SISU will be taking legal advice on this I'm sure but the clock is ticking.

How can they issue a new license before they even own the place?

I wonder what's been revised (aside from only being until the end of the season).

There can be genuine reasons to change .
The other party no longer exists to utilise every other Saturday .
Meaning our exclusivity expands without being changed energy costs etc are we two or three seasons into the current one.
Been a few significant changes likely in our favour?

I read that as CCFC had additional request (things like changing rooms, general access etc) and we’re holding off signing.

Ashley has said fuck you, you’ve taken too long here’s a new one with additional costs for additional requirements. CCFC still to sign so eviction notice issued.

Why not just agree to honour the existing licence terms until the end of the season while giving notice that a new deal is required for ongoing seasons.

To escalate by serving an eviction notice is no way to treat the club or it's supporters.
exactly. there's no way you look at the actions of Frasers and see anything but a kicking for the club coming at the end of the season. what Frasers should be saying is they will honour the terms of the existing license until it was due to expire, the fact they aren't saying that tells you everything you need to know

Here is what I think will happen.
Sisu will have no option but to accept the new contract.
It will mean multiple sales in January but hopefully we can avoid relegation.
We will possibly not be offered an extension beyond May next year, leaving Susi to either liquidate us or accept a take-it-or-leave-it offer.
it would go to arbitrators. they would decide a reasonable rent. Possibly much more than we currently pay.

if the changes at the end of the season were going to be in our favour could Frasers just not sign us up to the existing deal on the current terms for the length previously agreed and then at the end of the season say 'hey we can actually offer you a better deal, are you interested?'

I don't think you cut the term to a few months and start eviction proceedings if you're planning to offer better terms

you really don’t get it do you? Without CCFC signing the new agreement we are not tenants. Simple as that. Sisu playing games with our club. The deal is the same as before. So they need to sign it then discuss long term after.

They did around three weeks ago it's in the statement
