Can't see the EFL allowing it this time, we have 8 years left of a lease on the CBS, if SISU decided to move us I would warrant that the EFL would look to take the golden share off of them
No reason for a move unless some ridiculous change in the lease. EFL aren't going to wear it again.

It would depend if that exact lease stays in place on the same terms.

While that's true the point remains.

They'd still put a definitive timeline for a return to the city. We wouldn't be allowed to play outside of the city for years on years. Pretty glaring point which is continually being missed on this thread.

Another theory....... bare with!

Sisu could throw some funds into the squad between now and the end of the season, get us promoted via the playoffs
Then use the premier league cash to fund the new stadium at Warwick uni.
Thus leaving MA the owner of an empty football stadium with no tenants.
Long shot.

Problem is that if MA starts bringing his empire to the City and buying a few lunches and tracksuits for the “squeaky clean” City Council chumps then getting things done in this City will be down to MA.

Corrupt. Lot of them.

That's the thing isn't it - that would make him as terrible a potential owner as SISU, prepared to sacrifice the club for his own ends.

Exactly.

So in an ideal world Ashley will just say here's the money, sell up.

I don't think that will happen though.

Of course it won't :(

I'm not convinced he's the right owner either but, again, at least he'd be a change from SISU. Give us some other figure of hate for a few years, for variety!

Even on social media, people have been saying about him starving SISU out and getting them out etc.

Think the only way they will go is to pay them to go (realistically).

Leonard Brody 2 So bad he texted for himself to come off in the first half
Slimy Tim 7 Excellent spin throughout the game
Byng 7
Steve Waggott 5 Loses a mark for taking out Hyam
Paul Clouting 2 Largely anonymous
Ray Ranson 3 Got sent off just before half time, reckless indiscipline

Subs
Doug King 5 A bizarre cameo appearance off the bench but ultimately too short to make an impact

Now that the debt is allegedly off the club must increase potential deal as will be solely for asset's?
The debt hasn't gone anywhere, it will just end up being owned by someone else subject to football league approval.
That's if King still wants the Club now that MA owns the Arena.

Unless this doug king is going to invest into the playing side , I don't see the point of him at all ?
Sounds like a last minute patsy. A mechanism to try to get the CBS last minute and split the ownership structure of CCFC.

Maybe he (DK) has deeper pockets than JS and is less likely to be bullied into selling for a tin of beans. That’s how it comes over.

Anything to stop King completing the SISU deal, then selling his bit to Ashley (or will he be looking at making a loss on that basis?)

Byng on 7 is just ludicrous. His methods are from the dinosaur age, and tactics have moved on since the traditional 4 fax 4 fax 2 fax formation.

A case of ashley only ever owning 85% of the club ?

Sisu will want to keep the 15% ?

Possibility

Sky Blue Sam - 0 - too fat, not a good role model to kids - Igwe's fault

This was all rather embarrassing in the end. Seems very much the sort of half assed stunt Sisu would come up with. As usual no regard or care for how it impacts on fans or Coventry.
Will Super King find a way to drift off into the sunset never to be heard of again??
Here’s hoping MA will move for the club and we can finally get rid of this shower of shit.
