Doug King Takeover (8 Viewers)

The more I listen to him the more I think this move is purely a ploy to get the bondholders (and to a degree the administrator) to sit up and realise ‘hang on a minute, there’s more money on the table here from this guy, this needs to be seriously considered’, table it in court, the outcome of delay today’s hearing, exclusivity period ends, bid being made in the public domain by clubs owners adds to pressure on council and administrators to look at CCFC bid, Ashley’s chances of buying the club reduce significantly due to takeover, he can’t be arsed, SISU come in, job done…. Dawkins and Yank bid £30m for stadium as late curve ball.

Absolutely. However, there's a big difference in a player wanting to leave rather than us hawking him around as we have no cash.

I'm happy with the INTENT not to sell. If a player want to go, then there's nothing we, or the club, can do.

Take over or not if Vik stays post January he’s an idiot. Football is a fickle game, if he stayed and then his form dipped he would soon be forgotten. Go grab a big 4 year contract lad, the equivalent of a lottery win while you are the current big thing

Plus he could get injured.

As it stands we could well get silly money for him, so now the time is ripe .

hjs association with the co founder of Sisu just a co-incidence?
Not at all it’s probably the reason why joy trusts him and was willing to work with him
As I say reeves not going to work with joy or vice versa
Something needed to change
It potentially has
Let’s see. If it had been hidden then denied that wouldn’t have been great
He’s not joy but he’s clearly going to use her
He doesn’t have the history or the background.
Northern said it well

It appears the administrators are doing there job, by honouring Ashley's period of exclusivity, and Sisu/King and Dawkins are using the local media to table bids to try and turn the bond holders heads.

The £25 million headline statement will soon evaporate if Ashley's tabled bid is rejected. I'd guess it'll turn to '£25 mill subject to due diligence' quickly.

He literally did say £25mill subject to due dilligence.

Hmmm...£25m is such an arbitrary figure...one which is bound to make waves amongst the boldholders, making SISU look like the knight in shining armour.
Is this just a classic SISU case of offering more money than MA, then when MA gets the stadium, take him/administrator to court saying they offered more ?

Do the bond holders have legal representation in court today?

SISU wouldn’t have got King involved if he was anything like Evans

They weren’t duped by Evans, they saw right through what he was and laughed him off the negotiating table

well if Ashley isn’t successful he will be laying to keep the place going tonight or the padlocks are coming round

CCFC are only a small creditor too compared to bondholders etc and it isn't secured like theirs.

Is that because it’s not in administration yet? They have very specific guidelines to dispose of assets and probably pre administration, have to act on behalf of the bond holders, if no going concern solution found, administration and then it’s open to bidders and then that could be a viable option subject to fans and funding solution.
Ashley has tried to secure a preferred position pre admin so I am not sure anyone else, including the club, can actually bid until that exclusivity period has passed or goes into formal administration
Isn't MA the preferred bidder because he put up a non-refundable 1.2 million to keep ACL going in the interim? No other bidder was prepared to do that were they? Or have I missed something (again)!

I don't think sisu , or even a new owner have the stomach for that , considering it will be the court itself that ensures if Ashley gets it today
