Would you go to Wembley if we make it? (2 Viewers)

The only reason I got a season Ticket was to be in front of the queue for JPT tickets.
So I suppose I would have to make the effort no matter how hard it may be.:)

Just wonder if we got to Wembley and as the game progessed we were behind if there would be Sisu out chants.

Has there ever been a protest against owners in a cup final before I wonder?
Great place to do a protest re: banners, mass group' protest - could look spectacular!

I'm torn but not because of sisu, but because of the #BTeamBoycott I haven't been to a single EFL Trophy match this season.

A lot will depend on who we are playing, I don't think I would go if its an u23 team in the final.

I'll bloody walk there from Norwich if I had to.
Fifty years and just one final day out, I was on a lads holiday for the charity shield, so yes I'm going even if I have to kill someone to get a ticket.

You do know we won't get there, not with this team. Can you imagine Tudgay/ Wright and Burge and the other incompetents playing at Wembley, it will go down as the worst side ever to get there.
Unlike Keresley Digs I still want them to win

We won't get to Wembley under SISU Otium or any of its off spring. Sorry to spoil the party.

Be amazed if we made it, not sure right now if I'd go, depends on other stuff ! Love us to win something, prefer it not under these cretins though !

I'd go but if it was against a development side it's certainly take the shine off it!

As I'd always dreamt of going to a Wembley final with Cov v a side with a massive number in support and really feeling the roller coaster we do!

Not 200 fans of Wolves who have come to watch their 2nd string not really caring that much as long as the first team win that weekend!

What is the rule for the U21 teams re fielding players? Is it the same as for everyone else?

Just wondering what would happen if a U21 side got to the final. How seriously would the club involved take it and would they be prepared to suddenly throw in 5 first teamers for the final?

It's a way off yet, but if we got to the final that would create a bit of a buzz for all us City fans. If we then had to play a U21 side who could suddenly strengthen for the final that might take some of the fizz out for us.

Same rules? Stricter? Anyone know?

I've only been to Wembley twice, Cup Final and Charity Shield. I would never go and see England or any such shit like that so I would love for us to get there. My wife has promised to take our son if we do get there.

No, that is one of the issues. The U23 squads can change and play who they like as they are developing players, but us lot aren't allowed the same.

Another reason to dislike the format.

Could be a massive day for a club, not just us, but all the other minnows and lower league sides still left in the trophy.

Fight their way all the way to the final and then suddenly come across a team that decides to throw in a few Premier league first team squad players.

Talk about pissing on someone's chips.

I suppose the first team of the development sides club will be playing that weekend.

I would imagine if anything they'd be weaker as their U23 players maybe in the first team squad as opposed to say a midweek game when they can put some of their first team from Saturday out to play midweek

If a development team made it to the final it would be the death knell for that competition.

It would, we have seen the under 23's of teams like Stoke with Crouch etc. They get to make whatever changes they want.

If it is U23, it should be U23 development sides where they are under 23 with less than say 5 first team appearances.

Yeah true. Would be keen to see when the final is played and what clashes that has with Premier league games.

Weirdly, if it were say Southampton or Leicester in the final, their first teams could be playing on the exact same day.

Just how many fans would they then bring to the final at Wembley in such an instance?

Can't see the PL or Sky moving games to accommodate a tin pot cup such as the EFL Trophy.
