You know, I was always a bit unsure about Whelan, and then I got hold of a City's best hundred goals (or something) and I was shocked at a) the number of goals he scored, and b) the quality of some of those goals........

Alcohol must have dimmed my senses in the Whelan era!!

My favourite guy that everyone else seemingly thought was shite was Sean Flynn.

Wholehearted player who bagged a fair few goals and always played to 100% of his limited ability. Never gave in and had an engine that could go non stop for 90 mins.

He wasn't great, but seemingly to everyone else was shit.

I liked him.

I always liked Patrick suffo had a good couple of seasons then fell apart think he's still driving around stoke Heath in an L reg sierra with tape on the bumper
