Can I request this is "in your lifetime"?

Oggy
Nilsson Borrows Dann Babb
Gallagher Hadji Wise Ndlovu
Dublin Keane

S: Huckerby, Whelan, Boateng

Defence is tough, have we had no decent CBs in the last 20 years or is my memory failing me?

Couldn't pick between Bugsy and Nilsson so had them both :D

THOMAS PEARCE

MORTIMER HOLTON YORATH GIBSON

HUMPHRIES WALLACE HUDSON HUTCHISON

SUBS: FERGUSON

Never easy picking a best ever side but as I'm in my Fifties I find my selection mainly comes from the sixties and seventies but it just shows how many good players we have had over the years.

Is that 2-4-4?

I thought it looked a bit odd, I wrote it out all wrong.
Should have just gone down in a list !
But as a team as a 4-4-2 it is strong,but how about a typical sixties formation:4-2-4 !

Since 1986:

1.) Oggy
2.) Borrows
3.) Nilson
4.) Breen
5.) Babb
6.) Robson
7.) Boateng
8.) Frogatt
9.) Dublin
10.) Huckerby
11.) Ndlovu

Subs:
Mardsen - the one who got away
Keane
Kilkline - too young to really remember him that well

Feel likes a dodgy call on Gary Breen, but I guess I remember him being good - also the previous slated David Rennie I remember turning out to be pretty good for a while too! Roy Wegerle on the few games he played and played well was pretty immense too..

A great choice may I say especially with your namesake and the keeper.
I reckon George would have stuck the head on Fisher if he was around in those days !
I saw him deck a couple in matches nobody messed with George Hudson.

Is it a universal truth that anyone old enough to have seen Glazier has picked him over Oggie?

Huckerby over Keane?! I think your judgement is being affected by Huck's return last Sunday. Keane was five times the player Huckerby was, even when he was here as a 17 yo.

Disclaimer: IMO :)
