Unfortunately I do not share your optimism. Give me some actual concrete statistical facts that the club is likely to actually do better having missed out on possible promotion this season and then start next season on minus 15 no owner and players leaving left right and centre.

On the IQ front you are on par with Larry Grayson aren't you?

You throw the shit on this forum. Unbridled insults and shallow snipes at people who disagree with you. Then you type the word IQ like it will out smart someone.

You stoop low. I can do that if I wanted to but hey....I won't ...Enough is enough?

Don't know about anyone else, but I've lost the will to keep arguing about all this.

The two opposing camps seem so entrenched that there seems no prospect of anyone changing their position anytime soon. Put is this way, has anyone shifted their position based on what they have read on any of these threads?

It was a sad sight today. So much conflict, not just after the McSheffrey thing, but another argument between supporters started after the SISU OUT chants. The club is being torn apart and there seems no end in sight. People talk about the end game, but I think the messy stuff has only just started. So depressing.

I run my own business and to be quite frac I'm not on anyone's side but if you look at any business structure I would be with Sisu . I know they are only in this for self gain but what business isn't ? Unless the sole owners of ccfc have full control of financial revinue streams we may as well turn the lights off and call it a day. Sorry if you think I'm pro Sisu but I'm not and a successful business needs total control . PUSB

No at all. The model you espouse is the right one. It's just that SISU are the wrong organisation. Struggles ahead in finding the right people to run the club but a single owner is the only way forward.

I agree with you Grendel, SISU are entitled to all match day revenues. I believe Tesco should be approached for their match day revenues that are attributed to the extra footfall going through their shop on match days. Also the bus company who ferry the extra passengers to the Ricoh and the various Petrol stations fans fill up at before they drive to the stadium. SISU should have a share of all of these revenues and more, it's only fair

There is a difference between what CCFC needs, and what it is entitled to.

Does CCFC need matchday revenues? yes.

Is it entitled to them? No, they sold their rights to revenues.

Maybe if Sisu stopped acting as though they are the victims of some great injustice then they would have more support. They need to ask for help, not demand it.

I disagree, they are entitled to all revenues throughout Coventry on a match day, just in case they have some link to the match... It's what SISU are entitled to, surely?

If we go into administration and new owners are lined up and interested in taking us over, they will want everything that is cov city fc. So will ACL sell ? If they still want the revenue streams then we will surely go into liquidation . I would not invest in a project that had third party interest . Game over !!

The difference is most sensible people wanting to takeover won't deliberatley go out of their way to piss off the people your buying off.

Would you want to do business with an orginisation that tried to destroy your company?

Yeah, I get your point, but we need to increase revenues to fit within the fair play rules. Or we have to reduce the wage bill and knowone wants to reduce the wages of our top players, £5m wage bill is essential for our lads. Therefore we need pie and pint income and some of the dosh off the car parks. That will allow us to continue paying the boys the wages they need to survive.....

No ... a bit like acl trying to destroy ccfc holdings by continuing to charge well above sustainable market value

I can't think of one person who would want that? There may be a few people who would back the antagonist because they fail to see the bigger picture. It is difficult to scale the argument down to that of a sole trader or limited company but organisations need to be protected from being dragged down by bad debtors. Just my personal viewpoint.

Wityh regards to ffp, if we get to the championship then that 60% is of a considerably higher number, pity thay by entering admin we won't realise this for some years if ever at all.

... as you continue to see that its all sisus fault, look to have made an even more stupid decision now the play off dream looks almost in our grasp.

I keep reading how it'd about the next 50 years so its ok to miss a chance at promotion (despite our ridiculous consistent under achieving usually) which is why the stance not to pay the extortionate rent is an even better reason imo.

I'm far from a sisu apologists, but as the only credible show in town I still think we have a better chance of getting it right eventually with them at the helm.

Thanks SISU on the verge of the play offs someone compromised by 60% you shock hands on a deal and fucked it up well done.

Side stepped a potential trip to Wembley and millions in TV rights to increase our turn over.

For a a couple of 100 k

Well done!

Exactly, £150k rent for the Ricoh is a right royal rip off, I'm surprised the police haven't been called in for daylight robbery....

It seems that neither party will give in. They both have a lot to lose......This has gone on too long and SISU should have managed the disagreement in a different way.

SISU were working to a business model and likewise ACL. SISU got ACL to make concessions and then tried to break them further. They went to far and they were found out. Tough in business.

Tough on the fans

Or another way. The club aren't far off the play-offs with an evil hard-nosed Mayfair Hedge Fund in charge. Record home gate, record away wins, one twenty goal striker, one sixteen goal striker, one fourteen goal midfielder.

Look at it this way, the club aren't far off the play offs, despite the evil ACL stealing all the clubs money. When new owners take over, and are most likely given a more favorable deal from ACL, the sky should be the limit. Think of all that revenue from Kit Kats and stale sausage rolls.

You can't blame SISU for not getting to Wembley, they tried hard but with the lack of pie and pint income what do you expect!?

But our competitors pay 150k and have those streams so still not a level playing field and puts us at a disadvantage so we will eventually fail.

No, that was the Council who messed that up. Why did they not wait until we'd failed to get a play-off berth? Or until we'd gained promotion?

SISU have a lot to answer for, but so do CCC.

I think they thought city would be adrift of the play offs this week having put up a poor performance on Tues.

SISU actually compromised a little in the negotiations so they were actual negotiations.
If they didn't shake hands on things then back track
If they didn't try to destroy ACL on the sly.

Then we have no admin to worry about pre or post play offs.

SISU felt strong they could hold out the way the way we were going with Robins.

We would be in the play off positions by now. Hoping that would apply more pressure on ACL via the fans.

This is their making. If we get a ten point deduction then it is thanks SISU.
