Eastern, you, RFC and a small band are helping to strangle our club. You're putting your selfish interests above the future of CCFC.
Nobody turns up at Sixfields we'd be back at the Ricoh within a week.
Just put aside your need to watch City and think of the long term future - CCFC has no future at Northampton.
Yes, we'd all like to see these goals flying in, but we're sticking to our guns. CCFC back in Coventry.

I'm pretty sure they do get some revenue. Believe they get a percentage of each ticket sold by them.

Not sure if that is all CCFC tickets or just the ones sold by the club.

They get an admin fee for the tickets they sell themselves. They get nothing for tickets sold by the home club.

So if you buy from the home club they get £0, if you have to buy from CCFC they get 5% (?) of the ticket price.

Yeah I get the revenue thing. However we are told constantly that ccfc no longer represent the city, which is true as they are now based in Northampton. Yet those who label fans attending Sixfields as scabs quite happily go and watch the team away. Doesn't make sense. The team they are cheering are still based in Northampton. They may as well go and see Wigan, Chesterfield, arbroath or a hundred other teams.

Still, as long as they can slag others off and they still get to see ccfc then yeah, it's a win win situation.

When have I slagged others off?

Has everyone who attends away games slagged others off?

Do the majority of fans who attend away games slag others off?

If I could quote Grendel, could I have their names and addresses, proof that they go to away games and examples of their "slagging off"

There are tickets on the day at Shrewsbury. They have a 9,000 all seater ground. They average 5,000. Plenty of room. Lovely ground. Nice atmosphere.
Eastern Green is telling porkies. A real Sisu propagandist.

Not you. But I've seen many posters labelling fellow fans as scabs then saying excitedly "my Carlisle tickets arrived today" or whatever. Its double-standards from those chanting the "away games only" mantra.

Ccfc are not a team that represents the city regardless of whether they play at Sixfields or Shrewsbury.

What part of "this is an all ticket game and no tickets will be available on the day" on the Shrewsbury website do you not understand then?

But it's the same team you say isn't coventry city when they play in Northampton that pays away games. They don't suddenly change kit, players and manager when they enter six fields.

And I've read posts from North East Skyblue (or whatever his name is) "slagging off" all those who don't attend, but I don't then extrapolate his views to encompass everyone who goes to Sixfields.

Sorry, I don't mean you personally I mean the argument about it not being coventry city and it is Northampton reserves or sisu fc for games at sixfields but when it's an away game everything magically changes.

I know I'm not saying "you" personally. But the majority view say that going away is acceptable. I just don't think it makes sense.

How many people have expressed that view.

We have sold out at Shrewsbury a week in advance of the game. That suggests that if capacity wasn't an issue, we could probably have sold 3k (?) tickets.

What percentage does the first group make of the second?

Without knowing everyone who is going and reading back through their posts it is hard to tell, probably a lot though.

I'm afraid that that is the logic that allows people to tar everyone who attends Sixfields with the North East Skyblue brush.

Away tickets being sold through Shrewsbury are sold out.

There may still be some left through CCFC, although some people were posting that they were (almost?) gone at the end of last week.

The match is all ticket (per the Shrewsbury website) and there will be no sales on the day.

I think that there are plenty left in the home sections if you fancy that - it's generally a pretty friendly ground.

There are currently well over 3,000 tickets available for Shrewsbury. A cursory glance at the seating plan will show anyone this. I've got my tickets and look forward to the match.
Eastern, can see now exactly where you are coming from.
A real Sisu puppet. And a scab. You're a disgrace.
Hell will freeze over before I watch CCFC at Northampton. Thousands like me.

Why is it? People say that it isn't Coventry City (the team) when they play in Northampton but it is the same team that plays at away games? I have seen things like Cobblers FC, Northampton Reserves, SISU FC and people saying that they don't want to watch SISU FC. Yet when the team gets on a bus and goes to Shrewsbury it is Coventry City again?
