Yesterdays Cardiff disallowed goal (1 Viewer)

Really pissed me off on the ITV Football League show when there two pundits said that it should have been allowed.

Am sure someone on here with superior knowledge might correct me but looking at the highlights he was offside not from the initial header but..

When the ball was juggled by McFadz and he was clearly impeding Fadz control(sic) of the ball coming from an offside position.

Therefore he became the classic ‘active’ offside player.

Is this right?

Discussed on the Match Thread but understandably got lost in there.

Fadz's touch is not deemed to be a "Deliberate Play" as he does not have:

"control of the ball with the possibility of:
- passing the ball to a team-mate; or
- gaining possession of the ball; or
- clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it)."
