Wycombe played right into our hands there but we had to take the chances and we were clinical with our finishing today. Loved that performance. Really hope it's the match that is the catalyst for our season. Now lets follow that up with a 5-0 at Tranmere!

From what I saw of it, Wycombe will finish bottom half, they look like the same bunch of plodders they were in League 2. After the 4th we were so comfortable

They were letting the goalie take free kicks in their half and pumping it forward in the first half.

I don't think they will finish even in the playoffs.

Godden’s 3rd goal is up there with our best play of the season. Pin point pass from Westbrooke for a lovely Shipley assist. Huge 3 points.

It’s been a long time since i have seen kick offs sent straight back to the keeper to boot it long, what a horrible team they are in every way

quite possible. There were a few unexpected results today which is often the case when there's fixture congestion.
Will MR make a few changes for Wednesday to freshen things up?

I hope we never play football like them. Long ball to one man and hope for a knock on or a cheap free kick

Really need to follow it up with 3pts at Tranmere. A bad result there would be typical, a lot could also forget today’s result too.

Just woke up and looked at the results. Could not believe it.
Great away win and delighted Godden got a hat-trick.
Has boosted out goal difference too.

I know they've now lost 3 on the bounce but we made them look very ordinary.

Godden taking his chances so well and was supplied by a cracking team performance.

Window opens soon - lets hope if we are able to strenghten where needed, we don't need to cash in on the big money starlets who the CT have been touting around.

Hard to believe we've had to wait until now for the first away win, a run of 5 or 6 wins will see us sitting in the auto's, this league is there for the taking, on to Tranmere who we owe one.

Well that was an absolute masterclass-a real statement by us. Football (as well as us) the real winner on the day against hoofball.
The 4th goal a L1 Man City goal!

Tranmere a bit of a bogey team so lets hope we break that and it was great to see Shipley helping out Godden up front much better than Godden on his own battling away against the centre backs

We were exceptional today and the goal to seal the hattrick was one of the best city goals I've seen for a very long time... Outstanding

That was the most complete performance I’ve seen for a very long time. A Godden masterclass, let’s hope that’s the catalyst for him to go on a run. Follow it up with a win against a Tranmere and we’re right up there.
