3rd top scorer in the league sets up 2nd top scorer in the league to score against a team that we always perform badly against and have a habit of poaching our better players and some of you still want a moan?

I had to pick up this old point, only because it's about the Blunts. I've always seen our results against them over the years as very mixed rather than always struggling, so I checked to make sure I wasn't going mad and the historic record is even more balanced.

O Hare would have been a good fit when Rudoni is not available - seemed back at his best last night

I do think if we went up then someone like O’Hare who can press really well and is more of a defensive 10 would be ideal. We could then look to play the old box formation with O’Hare & Rudoni behind the striker (using O’Hare as the example player here, if someone else has his skill set that is also fine).

Honestly that was an awful 50 mins from him, after 10 mins he couldn't be arsed. Not sharp, slow to react and his movement was poor. He needs to wake up because he will find himself on our bench and out of a world cup squad if those types of performances carry on.

Every season he's had a spell where it looks like he's not slept for 2 weeks. He reacts 3 seconds too late, shoots from 30 yards into the stands when he should pass and generally looks lethargic.

Two months ago he was red hot. He looks now like the Haji of the end of the season who Nick wanted to lynch!

I dont think many think he is a bad player, but he is putting in bad performances of late. That has to change, form is temporary and hope he plays himself into it.

Burnt out? He doesn’t break a sweat. I wish people would stop making excuses for him his general play and willingness to work hard have been awful. Simms deserves his shot he has worked hard when he’s been on
