I think Armstrong was on around 18 or 19 by Christmas and only just managed 20 for the seasonDidn’t Mifsud have about 10 by October and then didn’t score again all season?

13 then 7 in new year but results were genuinely crap. Letting Kent go was a big mistake.I think Armstrong was on around 18 or 19 by Christmas and only just managed 20 for the season
That's what Beornwulf of Mercia said after Egbert of Wessex won the Battle of Ellandun in the year 825.Letting Kent go was a big mistake.

I think teams were doubling on him which is in part why Murphy's form also fell away after he left.Kent was massively overrated. Had so much skill but the end product was horrendous.
The team was averaging 3 goals a game and he got one goal and one assist the whole time he was here.

Klopp recalled Kent, he had just got the job, recalled him to take a look at him, played him in a cup game against lower league opposition and never he played for Liverpool againWas standard Liverpool practice to recall loans in January under Rogers. I doubt we could have possibly done anything to stop it.
