Silly comment really.

* Not everyone lives locally.

* Not everyone can go to every home game.

* Not even everyone who lives locally, can afford a season ticket.
I live 120 miles away

i cannot get to every home game

I appreciate Season tickets are expensive, but I also know every June that I’ll fork out for it. I save £50 per month so when it comes to it I don’t have to fork out a lump sum.

But I’d imagine some of those that cannot afford a season ticket are those that are offering a fortune to buy a ticket from someone.

To give people a chance to go to away games
People have had the chance to build up points over the past few years. Cardiff away, Wednesday away etc.

Weirdly though people “couldn’t“ go to these games but will want equality to those that did when the tickets to Anfield go on sale.

The club simply cannot ignore the loyalty that stuck with us dropping down the leagues and back Up again

I don't suppose anyone knows of a spare ticket or two? I thought I couldn't make it but I can now. Please DM me if anyone has any. Thanks

Agree, I’ve been lucky enough to go to sheff weds this season away and got one for Blackburn, it’s just one of those things, getting to see every home game is enough, the fans who’ve clocked up the miles over the years in the very dark days have earned that, won’t begrudge them

I have 1300+ points which has been ideal for Wembley tickets but is invariably not enough for away games (especially as the people I attend matches with have around 1000 points each). I don’t bemoan the regulars who have more points and get to see the sky blues regularly away, as our popularity has increased, things were going to breach accessibility for some. I’m glad I have a season ticket, had I not, I would not have baulked at paying £45 to see a promotion party, though.

We missed out on the Wrexham tickets. I’ve not been feeling amazing recently and when push came to shove by the time we realised they were on sale they were almost gone. I’m hoping that everything will be sewn up by then and we can just watch the celebrations on TV.

Watch in a nearby pub (or even the casino) and join the celebrations around the stadium after!

I think every pub will be celebrating for the Wrexham and Watford games. We’ll be in a pub for Watford and possibly have family coming over from Ireland for the parade etc too. I think it will be unforgettable wherever we are

What's the issue with how it works now?

People have more points than me, people have less points than me. If they have more then they have put the miles in over the past couple of seasons. No issue at all if they get first dibs on man city away.

If somebody just decided to support ccfc after promotion then errrmmm, tough.

I haven't got as many points as some people, that's life. If I wanted more then I should have booked time off to travel up the country on a work night in December.

In any case there does seem to be a broad consensus on here

I’ve remembered the discussion it was some of the supporters groups wanting a change because they can’t book coaches until people have got a ticket

A hard line was held by the club this season but a promise to look at it for next with a view to a small percentage of tickets going on open sale

I’ll make the point that most think longevity of support is the most important aspect

They have changed it, they know how many tickets they get and they get told people with x points can have them and this SC starting point is always lower than the non SC starting point.

I know
Not low enough for some though
I’m not directly impacted could have gone to Blackburn with my points and I’m all very good with those who’ve gone week in week out going

The away ticketing system isn't a closed shop. If it becomes one then totally agree, put a percentage to general sale/ballot.

But don't do it before that scenario has even happened and deny tickets to people who have put the hard yards in over the years
