BTA isn’t a winger and Markelo seemingly isn’t fit. Esse has been pretty poor when he’s played. Hence KKH who has looked like he can play out wide unlike Esse and BTA
Thought Esse was pretty disappointing last night. BTA has been ineffective from wide recently. Seems crazy when we have so many wingers now but could be tempted by KKH out wide, especially after coming on to score.

KKH’s cameo was good but let’s not get carried away because we were battering Portsmouth and he wasn’t even playing RW. He’s only played RW once this season v Ipswich and it wasn’t good, he may have a few cameo appearances earlier in the season.

All 4 wingers we have and specifically BTA are obviously a better options than KKH at RW.

Just think he’s don’t a better job than the others. I’d happily play MvE there with KKH at RB too. BTA an Esse want to drift in too much. BTA is a striker and Esse an AM but both don’t have the presence required to play in the middle really. Ideal would be Markelo as that’s his actual position but seems he’s not available.

Also the premise of the team was to not play players who are playing over the summer so that’s BTA out.

Lampard will want to lift the trophy off the back of a win, its another occasion. He may rotate a couple of them, but otherwise i think its strongest available.

Will we see a squad team play starting 11 vs Wrexham.?

Wilson, Wolfenden, Brau, Bidwell , Hayden and Allen perhaps.

If Rudoni needs that shoulder Operation surely better done sooner than later
I doubt it but I wouldn't be surprised if Woolfenden/Lati start that's happened before. I can see there being sub appearances for some of the other players especially Jamie Allen.

It’s not really reasonable to rest players when the opposition are still involved in either promotion or relegation - Lampard will respect that

KKH isn’t a winger, he will be a v good WB over time.

We’ve got Esse, BTA and Markelo so not sure why we’d play KKH there.

I’ve been wondering if we’ll see him and Van Ewijk feature as RCB/RWB combination next season when we play 5 at the back. Spreads the pace a bit.

Want EMC and Torp to play. I want them to get 10 goals each so we have 5 players to have hit double figures in the league.

I get giving Allen and Bidwell minutes off the bench but why Wilson? Thought he’d been sticking around as third choice keeper?

Rushworth has to play the last two games in full for me to round off an absolutely sensational loan move.

no not v Wrexham. The players will want revenge and we have think about the integrity regarding other teams in the playoff. It will be the strongest team possible. Frank wants us to have won when we lift the cup.

I can see Allen being on the bench and coming on a sub, for obvious reasons.

I wish people would put to bed this nonsense that Rudoni needs an operation. If he needed one it would have happened when he had his calf problem. They knew the calf wasn’t a quick heal.

Because he hasnt played a single minute and Lampard wants to reward him. Same reason he gave for bringing Kesler Hayden on last night

The job isn’t done yet despite winning the league. We’ll be lifting the trophy on Sunday so of course we’re going to want to win and kill Wrexham’s playoffs hopes.

Watford might be a bit of a ‘on the beach’ performance for both sides but it’s a games we should still win.

I’m surprised we haven’t done this more since Boro away when it worked a treat. KKH will turn good imo, he’s got good technical and physical attritbutes.

I can imagine what the regular players would say about being dropped on the day we lift the cup; just to give someone a runout.

Get three in front and bring them off the bench, then start with more mediocre against Watford, where it's meaningless for both.

Save the changes for Watford
Correct. Watford is a dead rubber, zero implications for either side. Let’s beat Wrexham but it’s the type of fixture I’d expect a few changes from last night anyway. Maybe start Torp ahead of Onyeka and I’d start Simms too. No issue playing Eccles in for Rudi and if Markelo isn’t fit, use KKH and MvE either way around on the right, not Esse. Bring on Jamie later in the game and Bidders.

No, Lampard will play a strong 11. He said last night he doesn't want to lose on the day we lift the trophy. And he'll respect the league as well with Wrexham in the race for the playoffs with other clubs. I'd imagine the likes of Bidwell, Allen, KKH will get minutes off the bench. Not sure about Brau. I can't see Wilson getting a game with Rushworth going for the golden glove award.

I don't think Rudi will play now. He needs that operation and as others have already said he should be getting it done ASAP now. Otherwise play our strongest available side but definitely minutes for KKH, Allen and Bidders
