Depending on Torp’s availability I would be tempted to go 5 at the back again.

Another three game week (well 8 days) coming up and a long trip. I wouldn’t be surprised to see us go with Simms and a back 3.
This game is perfect timing for us. It will be Wrexham's 3rd game in 7 days, having played away at Boro yesterday, the Welsh derby in the Cup Tuesday night to get in the quarter finals and then play us on Friday, whilst we will have had a 6 day rest and are the best away team in the league. They have only won once at home this season.

Wrexham rank among the highest in expected goals conceded and are in the top 5 teams that have faced the most shots this season.

This is definitely a game where we need to start on the front foot.

Yeah I do think the extra game on Tuesday is going to have an effect on them. 5 games in two weeks is tough for any side.

Do what we did yesterday. Kill the game off early and cruise the 2nd half by passing between midfield and defence.

All going to depend on fitness of Torp, Thomas and Tatsu. Be nice to get Rudoni on the bench ready for the start sometime in the following week if possible.

FL will use the week well to get the balance of rest, work and information into the players ready for Friday and the season ahead. FL is getting all right at the minute and will be experienced enough now to keep everyone's feet on the ground.

No torp or rudoni likely. It won't be easy I don't think. Close game
I would have said that, but with them playing Cardiff on Tuesday, that has to take its toll surely.

To play Saturday, then Tuesday and then Friday, is quite the ask.

They may rest a few, but it's Cardiff and they will be desperate to win that game.

Could do us a huge favour.

If we go 5 at back, who starts up front Wright or Simms? It worked OK with Simms up front at Portsmouth as it was a physical game which doesn't really doesn't suit Wright. I see the Wrehax game as being physical as well. Also maybe drop EMC and have BTA on left and Saka on right. They both track back to help defence and drop into midfield a lot better than EMC,

I didn’t realise they were playing tomorrow. Only 2 days rest between the games is mad.

I think Disney would value a cup run more than a win against us.

I can see them going quite strong against Cardiff.

Am I right in saying MVE is out due to yellows? Will be interesting to see how we do without him as he as been ever present during this run.

Yes, and he was taken off yesterday cos he'd been booked again and, i think, FL didnt want to risk him getting a second yellow

Think assuming Torp and Rudi are still a couple of weeks away I’d stick Haji wide left and go:

Rushworth
Thomas Wolf Kitching
KKH Allen Grimes Dasilva
BTA Simms Wright

Can’t see Lampard doing that with Wright though.

No Saka, I've got a feeling he's gonna give them a nightmare on Friday evening, he needs to start

Tighten things up a bit behind our attack and we’ll be too good for them.

I’m hoping Torp will be back for this one. Maybe even Rudoni on the bench?

I’ve watched their last two games. Kabore, their wingback on loan from Man City, is a good outlet for them.
They should’ve beaten Middlesbrough yesterday…Moore missing a sitter with his head.

Against Oxford they weren’t so good and their home form isn’t brilliant. They actually looked better after Doyle got sent off.

Here’s hoping Welsh pride gets the best of them/their TV show demands it, and they field a full strength team vs Cardiff during the week.
Kabore left or right?
Unfortunately, I feel that we'll see just how much we miss MVE in this one.....

After what he's said with not rushing rudoni back from a calf issue I imagine same for torp.

He might play. I'm just assuming Tuesday Vs sheff utd hell be back that's all
he implied he could of probably played yesterday but it wasn't worth the risk

he said he'll should be back training next week didn't he? He should be available
