I shall give them both standing ovations on Corners, Goals, Substitutions. As a fanbase can we all agree to treat Sheaf and Hyam with respect should they play. Both excellent servants for the club who will always be fan favourites.
It’s actually a really good point. As a fanbase can we all agree to treat Sheaf and Hyam with respect should they play. Both excellent servants for the club who will always be fan favourites.
I was wondering whether Woolf might be a good one to play against Moore, but Kitching and/or Thomas should be capable of larging coping with threat he poses.I'd play that team too, especially after seeing last nights game, although the Wrexham team will look very different the system wont. I think Kitch and Thomas can cope with the threat of moore, although I do think Lampard will go 3 at the back again like at Pompey. There not a great side, and defensively they are shite so hope we go and try to attack them and cause problems for them.
They have tried to buy an out the box championship team, forgetting that coaching is as, if not more, important. On paper they've just bought a bang average Championship side. I'm not suggesting for one second that going away to any middling Championship team isn't difficult but I think they are restricted by their manager.
Doyle started slow but should be their best defender - suspended.
Sheaf and O'Brien should be an effective midfield - Sheaf injured (of course) and O'Brien seems to have dropped down the pecking order for some reason.
They'll rely heavily on pumping it to Moore and seeing if Windass can knock one in from the edge of the box.
We should have too much all over the pitch really. We need to keep an eye on the wing backs though who from the bits I've seen do deliver well to Moore.
Parkinson will probably last the season if they aren't in danger of relegation but beyond that, if they have genuine ambition, they'll have to do away with him eventually. They have tried to buy an out the box championship team, forgetting that coaching is as if not more important.
Remember his beef with Pressley when we played Bradford during the Sixfields season, he got the hump when Pressley accused him of playing 'Stone Aged Football' and proceeded to heckle his post match interviewParkinson will probably last the season if they aren't in danger of relegation but beyond that, if they have genuine ambition, they'll have to do away with him eventually.

I’d like us to be a classy club who always remembers players that have done well for us who left in the right way.
Taking my sunglasses for when we scoreBut boos Callum O’Hare cos it’s funny.
Sheaf and Hyam got us feesBut boos Callum O’Hare cos it’s funny.
Tbf though....we would have done the same (If not a Cov fan)Sheaf and Hyam got us fees
O'Hare left on a free to get Premier League football and is now scrapping round down the bottom of the division whilst we are at the top - I pity him, he should have been a part of all of this, but he made his decision and will be reminded of that accordingly on Tuesday night
I know Cal and the story isn't as one sided as people seem to make out.Sheaf and Hyam got us fees

Hyam was the final player Joy managed to sell to add to the handbag funds wasn't he? A good pickup by us tbf and it worked out well for both parties. Reading reserves if i remember correctly, was supposed to be a bit of a project player but soon got in the team and came all the way to the Championship with us where he has played his football ever since. I think i'd allow a small ripple of claps before kick off but if he didn't reciprocate you'd have to switch it to booing and probably make a thread on here about what a tosser he is.Sheaf and Hyam got us fees

Didn't he fall out with Robins because he dropped him? Feel like there was a rumour he fell out with the owner too? I dunno what's true tbf, the only fact i know is he went to the Blunts and anyone who leaves us for those shit houses should be booed into next week. You won't find me simping for Hamer or O'Hare.I know Cal and the story isn't as one sided as people seem to make out.
Won't break confidences but given the circumstances we all would likely have done the same.
That was the rumour but if you are to believe @Saddlebrains then Overson paid for that. So the only conclusion i can come to from that is that it went into the handbag fund. I hear she has one made from the skin of every living and some extinct animals.Wasn't he sold to help pay for pitch repairs or something?!
Bingo. Robins got the hump with him, but we did help him with his recovery. Catch 22. I dont think hes a Judas, hes just a young lad who was offered more money to play for a team who at the time has prem aspirations. The only Ill will held from our fans stems from passion for the club and for him as a player. Like when your ex finishes with you for a better looking bloke who turns out to be an alcoholic, not really arsed anymore.I know Cal and the story isn't as one sided as people seem to make out.

Maybe I am looking at it as a fan too muchTbf though....we would have done the same (If not a Cov fan)
I'm sure I heard that him and Wright being fined for doing rock, paper, scissors to decide who would take a penalty soured things with Robins.Didn't he fall out with Robins because he dropped him? Yeah from a fans perspective fuck him. But from a "Lets put our work head on" perspective, its kind of fair enough. Good point about not having Rudoni if he had stayed. I know which I'd pick.Maybe I am looking at it as a fan too much
But I just think he owed a little bit more loyalty to a manager who had nurtured him from boy to man and stuck by him through two serious injuries - And to see him rock up at a club with similar ambitions for nothing, and for him to criticise Robins in his signing on interview for taking him out of the side in the back end of the 23/24 season, when he clearly was not going to sign a new deal hurt
Like I said, I think he should still be here and a part of what we have going on at the moment - But if he stayed maybe there is no Rudoni, who is simply the better footballer so maybe it worked out for us in the end
Tuesday night isn't about him anyway, there are bigger fish for us to fry at the moment in time

I very rarely claim to be ITK but on that specific transfer, Blackburn came in for him earlier in the summer and were told no. Then the pitch shenanigans unraveled and Steve Waggott was called back saying he was theirs if it all came in up front. That was the rumour but if you are to believe @Saddlebrains then Overson paid for that. So the only conclusion i can come to from that is that it went into the handbag fund. I hear she has one made from the skin of every living and some extinct animals.
Coincidentally the exact same time the last living White Rhino was despatched and turned into luxury items.I very rarely claim to be ITK but on that specific transfer, Blackburn came in for him earlier in the summer and were told no. The rat left on a free after we helped him with 2 recoveries. Then in his first image as a sheff u player was wearing the sunglasses. Hope he gets a career ending injury soon. But boos Callum O’Hare cos it’s funny.
Cuntish that. We would have paid his wage via insurance regardless of recovery. Was in the clubs best interests to get him fighting fitThe rat left on a free after we helped him with 2 recoveries and left on a free. I prefer Spearmint RhinoCoincidentally the exact same time the last living White Rhino was despatched and turned into luxury items.

Currently they have only 3 stands. Construction of new kop stand next year will take it to 18k. (Designed by same Spurs Stadium architects)Last time they were in level two, they had the same average crowd as they’re getting now.
They will never have crowds in the 30,000k bracket.
I prefer Spearmint Rhino

Long live the King! It's true, I saw the invoice for the pitch repairs
Hyam was sold to pay the tax bill. We were a lot closer than some imagine to going into admin before Doug took us on
So by that measure we didn't pay him enough and saw him as no return on any future investment?Fans are fans though and they are always going to see it through rose tinted spectacles
Deep down people of a certain age probably know that Dion almost single handedly kept us in the Premier League for a few extra seasons and that going to Villa was a better career move, but it didn't stop them getting upset about it
