He’s still far more talented than pretty much all our squad so I get it, but he probably just wants to enjoy his life, earn a good wedge then retire when it finishes. Rather than live like a saint for an extra couple of years. He must be on what? £40/wk for three years? He’s a millionaire already.

But saying you cant play at the highest level whilst also having bad habits (Lamps smokes and was overweight most his career) is just simply not true!

I assume he gained the nickname Fat Frank ironically then because of how skinny he was?

Whilst I dont think Frank was actually all that fat, I also dont think Hamer is either. Granted, neither have the physique of Cristiano Ronaldo, but theyre not exactly Akinfenwa
