Mark Laborvich stated on CWR that they are negotiating with two local authorities very near to Coventry re. about a site for the proposed new ground but it is not Coventry Council.
Question:
Would another council sell land to a company or allow a company planning to build a ground in it's area which has constantly failed to submit accounts, which is against the law, owes a local authority hundreds of thousands of pounds, going against a High Court ruling and obviously trying to cause distress to another Local Authority.
Remember this is non political and has unanimous cross party support.

It would be illegal for a council to refuse to allow a stadium in their area at this stage.

If they really dont want it they will try and find reasons to refuse once planning permission has been put in.

you've got to imagine they would at the very least be pretty wary of the whole thing. ML was trying to make out of SSN that it would be just outside the boundary of the city which would surely mean CCC being involved from an infrastructure perspective anyway.
