Yeah, didn't like the way Cov Utd were set up, looked to exploit another club's and fans' misery but... as you say the women's team lost its funding from CCFC, so had to go *somewhere* or fail to exist. In that respect, I'm glad they do exist as a city the size of us should have a half-decent presence in women's football really.

So they should exist , the way the men's team was formed is something that grates me massively .. the women were genuinley left with no option

Who was in charge of the women's team then?

Are you sure they didn't have an issue with Coventry city and get sweet talked by this new hype called Coventry United?

Yeah they weren't getting enough funding from the club. How much are they getting now from cov united men's?

Yes I was talking to a fan once going to a cup away game. He was proud that he was supporting real football and won’t go back till Sisu have gone

Fuck knows why , same name but totally different circumstances surrounding the two teams .

One was formed on the back of our demise , the other changed name so to continue being funded and playing

So you are saying Coventry city didn't fund them so they are baddies and they moved. Yet they are nothing to do with their men's club of the same name?

Yes I remember. In all honesty I wouldn’t go back. More likely to go and watch Sphinx. At United it felt like I was at a TOWIE after party.

Changed name to be funded by the club on the back of our demise who also don't fund them now?

Best thing they can do is completely ring fence the kids teams from an unsustainable ladies team to make sure they are safe.

That really doesn't warrant hoping the women's team go down the pan .. once again who runs them or not they'd still be coventry city had the football club decided to fund them , and that's why they are different to the men

What you mean the people running the women's team were also those crazy fuckers in sleeping bags and wanting to turn up at people's houses? Also the ones trying to personally attack anybody who didn't agree?

No nick , why would an established women's football club under the banner of a football league club decide fuck it , let's go with the non league name instead , just because one day there's a 1 in a 10000000 % chance they might play in the football league .

You don't half waffle
