Out of what was possible we got the highest ranked team in pot 2, the second highest ranked team in pot 3 (and the highest we could have got given the highest ranked teams in B and C were both European), and the 3rd highest ranked team (of those confirmed) in pot 4.

Sure, given the format etc we should get through comfortably but it was almost as hard as it could be.

It is an easy draw. If England don’t get 9 points it will be disappointing. Due to the amount of teams in it the worst outcome would have been Italy. France have it much trickier
