Absolutely. France showed that. High tempo, attacking intent, quick decision making. The intense marketing of the Lionesses has distracted from the shortcomings on the pitch. Need to move on from 2022 and concentrate on the next group of players coming through
Pass and move, shoot at the goal. Somewhere along the line it just morphed into pass sideways and maximise your xG.

That result was nothing to do with physicality tbh, the lads were tiny. They looked like what they are, schoolboys.
yeah probably still stronger than the womens team but hey crack on

Shouldn’t the goals be smaller? Women keepers are hopelessly exposed. It’s like when David Speedie went in goal. It looks ridiculous

That Germany keeper was rank,
Was wondering if that one who scored the first was the former girlfriend of Viks before the Portuguese one?

the best thing is when the commentators or "social media" go way over the top about "screamers" being scored then it's 2 miskicks and a keeper diving out the way of it.

It doesn't help with how it gets bigged up so much.

Jess Carter (local girl) been culpable and looks shot of confidence.
It's not even that though, Harry. Have always seen her as a weak link.

Every single game she makes sloppy passes from the back. It's as regular as clockwork and then worst still,.she is far, far too slow.

Apparently the Swedish player that outpaced her, plays for Arsenal and is by all accounts, not a very fast player, but she sped past Carter with ease.

She's always been a weak link, unless we play far inferior opposition

Yeah I've never rated her either when I've seen her for England. Not sure what she's supposed to bring to the team.

Forgot this was on.

Just found a stream as it hit HT. The commentary is two simultaneously running audios - one Swedish, one English. I can speak both languages, so it would be fine if it was one or the other, but they are both on top of each other interfering. Not to mention the seemingly hysterical crowd layering on top which sounds like a bunch of children screaming.

Oh, and we are losing...

Flat track bullies England. Great against poor opposition but been awful against 2 competent opponents. Need to break up the nostalgic team of the last Euros get off Tik Tok and podcasts and get back to playing football
