Playing well enough. Maatsen looks good on the ball but would like to see him hitting some crosses in.

He’s going to see a lot of the ball this season. Him an O’Hare already linking up well.

Hamer-Sheaf-O'Hare-Gyo-Waghorn look pretty sharp to my eye. They'll trouble a lot of teams. Just need that 3rd CB and some midfield cover to be a solid side with much better options off the bench than last year.

Some nice balls getting pinged over the top for Gyo

Sheaf has been great so far. The pitch at the Ricoh seems bigger than St Andrews?

Doing fine here, frustrating switch off for the goal though.

Sheaf has been excellent.

That ball he just dropped over the top for Gyo is the biggest difference between him and Kelly in a nutshell.

Traore ain’t all that. Just pace. As hench as he is he’s been outmuscled numerous times already. Doesn’t keep hold of the ball that well either.

Sheaf and Hamer playing well. Pitch needs a good watering at half time, looks like the ball is dying on the grass after every pass.

You're right, good point- just googled it and it is indeed a lot bigger- 115x74m here and 100x66m at St Andrews

Yes, he's shown his range already and he can turn either way when the ball goes into him, whereas Kelly tends to go the way he's facing.

Sheaf not looking too bad, so I'm not going to mention that he was caught on the ball with his back to Wolves.

Playing some nice stuff this half, balls over the top causing them some problems just a shame to concede such a sloppy goal

I said it last season , but with a season of championship football under his belt , Sheaf is going to be some player.

Middle options of Sheaf , Kelly , Hamer, Eccles and Ohare is looking good at the moment

He was apparently carrying a chronic back problem last season
Hopefully that's sorted and we will see the best of him this term
