He was apparently carrying a chronic back problem last season
Hopefully that's sorted and we will see the best of him this term

I thought a 'chronic' medical problem was one that's long-term/recurring?

I’d try and get there LCB Kilman on loan, looks just what we need in that position.

Plus I signed him on my FM20 and he’s a true sky blue on that

We might as well try and get Traore and Jimenez as well

I'm going to predict a goal after 6 minutes against Forest and a lot of mirth at the panic over the lack of goals in pre-season..

Can anyone tell me how Sheaf is playing?

Hamer has been a bit sloppy at times, lots of blind passing

Sheaf not looking too bad, so I'm not going to mention that he was caught on the ball with his back to Wolves.

Shear has been very good Hamer seems to now want to give the ball away

That one a minute ago, playing it inside when dabo was clearing it was terrible,

Do you think this might not favour our formation? With the 3CB's and only the wing backs on the flanks I'd have thought a narrow pitch would be favourable?

Maybe semantics
It was chronic last year and hampered him
But following treatment back at Arsenal it looks to have cleared up

Maasten, Ohare and Gykores attacking left, with just Waghorn in the box, need something else.

Looked alright there. Sheaf and Dabo looking good. Maatsen decent in possession in the final third, but questionable at the back.

The only thing I'd say about Gyo and to some extent Waghorn, is that neither seems like a penalty box player but the movement of both of them is great, especially in to the much bigger spaces the CBS pitch affords. It's really key that we can get midfield runners into the box to support.

I don't seemed to be getting any interruptions on my device mate, works perfectly fine. Apologies. Maybe try coming out of it and going back into it maybe.... PUSB

Sheaf had a very good half. Hamer also sharp but trying to do too much sometimes. Viktor looks like he has an extra yard of pace from last year. One criticism, thus far we have only had one man in the box in some attacks. Overall very encouraging thus far.

Ain’t really worried about the result, but we have played some good stuff at times.

The fact forests pre season has been hampered with no pre season friendlies recently, I’m ever so slightly optimistic of 3 points next weekend

Encouraging first half. Some lovely football. Sheaf has been the stand out player for Cov so far. Nice to see Dabo getting down the line. Gyokeres and Waghorn look like they could develop a useful partnership. Crane has done well - fitted in seemlessly. Hyam so much better on the right side.

Agreed, both look to link up very well and make intelligent runs, but neither seem to have that instinct to just hit it. But waghorn has scored at this level so worth giving both more time. And walker and godden offer that anyway. Good options.

This Vipboxtv link is a better quality than the hesgoal link earlier in thread. Few pop ups to get there though.
