Checking a wolves fc forum re the signing of Leon judas Clark It appears that the majority of them arn't happy. Below are some of the posts.
I hope for Leon's sake he scores in his his first couple of games or I can see it turning nasty.

"How low have we fallen that we have to resort to signing this idle tub of lard.

This ranks with Mick signing Kevin Kyle for me. Awful decision in the long term as well."

"I think it's really hit home tonight. Really really gutted"

"This will be the one time I think where I'll ever see a comment like this after signing the league's top scorer - I will add that Jackett probably doesn't give a toss about any previous history with Clarke though I'm not sure he knows the full extent of it either! Still, it seems to be a short-term thing this unless he kicks on in the Championship as well...

"Go on then Leon, prove me wrong and fire us to the Championship.

Kenny Jackett, I hope you know what you are doing...

"He has an enormous amount of baggage with the fans particularly the South Bank. He has refused to play for his current club, Wayne Hennessey has done the same to us and was rightly castigated for it. So much so he does not come out and warm up at half time because of the reception he'll get.

He's 28, was awful when we played them, he's failed in the Championship on numerous occasions (never scoring more than 10 in a season) meaning if he does fire us the goals to get us promoted chances are he'll be a dead weight next season and we'll have to replace him.

"I don't understand it at all. He's not going to improve, he's not good enough for a higher level, he has a bad attitude, he has negative history here.

I'm trying to think of the last time I felt this negative about a signing.

Just the fact he refused to play for coventry to come here should have flashed up warning signs for Jackett.

Should have saved the money and let McAllindon have games, or got someone in on loan if its experience he feels we need.

Good luck greedy judas your going to need it by the sounds of it

I think he is in for a shock, he has been a regular for us, almost a talisman leading the line and our team has made him what he is. He had better get used to sitting on the bench and playing a bit part role, but i doubt he will be bothered, money talks at the end of it all..

totally agree, he will be a squad player and not a focal point like here.

Leon......You will look back on your time at CCFC and SP with some regret. You will never produce that sort of form again! Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Was that not similar reaction we gave, when he signed 12 months ago??

No. Grendull insinuated the same yesterday so I posted the link to when he signed. Just about all of us were happy he joined.
