How much squad investment do you think we need to attain 60-65 points and consolidate in the championship next season?

I ask because 50 is the normal benchmark for survival and if we can hold off admin on Friday with some delaying tactics and begin next season -10/-15 I don't think that total would be unrealistic.

Therefore, fr those of you who want sisu out, if you're certain a new owner is waiting in the wings for admin, do you still want admin on Friday to remove sisu asap or would you prefer to wait given the league possibilities that now present themselves given the current table/position and the chance for a realistic tilt at getting up?

If we have new owners and get decent signings in the -15 points is easy to overturn and make promotion.

That's 5 more wins than we have now. We should have at least won 5 more games this season.

It wasn't very easy for Leeds and Southampton.

In this league I agree, but I'm suggesting if we stave off and manage to get up, so the budget required to attain 65 in the championship.

I think the hardest part would be persuading good players to come and show play off form to just beat relegation, as they would prefer a go with a contender if they were goid enough for that.

if we get into playoffs
if we win the playoff finals
if admin is declared
if the club is sold

In truth can't see any real decisions being made in time for next season, hope I'm wrong.

Absolutely agree with all of that, but it wasn't what I asked.

I d be too busy celebrating the miracle if getting to the play offs and winning them.

More realistically can we stay in league 1 with a points deduction

The Club is only part of the portfolio. Any prospective owner would see the potenital of the developments around the stadium. If they manage to gain control of ACL of course.

i reckon take administration now and hope for a new owner. gives the new owner time to invest in the club before next season in league 1.

They're not "so called" because you don't happen to agree with them. He never said "I love SISU", etc. He just said he couldn't see why anyone would want to buy Coventry City.

I don't like Man Utd, but I couldn't really describe then as a "so called" football team, could I?

In my opinion: If this American comes in he will need to access these 'revenue streams,' oft quoted in the past but even more relevant now that we are this low as a club.

That means ACL/CCC buying in to what any consortium brings to them.

Maybe they are ready to deal?

Maybe SISU want to do a deal? Or perhaps they will just let us go in to admin?

Lots if interesting arguments guys, but can any of you answer the original question please? All threads seem to end with the same circular arguments and its by now fairly clear which side we all sit on.

So did this expert mention anything about new owners buying the Ricoh?

My point was is this guy is looking at how the club is, not what it could be.
