honestly? i dont think any experienced keeper is going to join with two other backup keepers already at the club (unless one or two goes), and knowing that we have dovin coming back. i dont even know who is available.
If it's Collins forget any promotion prospectsI don't mind if it's Wilson or Collins. As long as Dovin is really back by November I'm not desperate for a goalkeeper.
There I said it

Free transfer for an experienced international keeper who's just come off the back of playing in Ligue 1 and has past PL experience also. Still, we could just put Wilson in and hope for the best.I think @Brighton Sky Blue s suggestion was a good and sensible one. A rare thing indeed on here.
I mean if you're apprehensive at best about someone starting in goal, they probably shouldn't.I'd rather we had someone else starting as our No.1, preferably a loan until Dovin is back but I don't think we should be spending money of we haven't gt much. If Wilson was to start the season, I'd be apprehensive. If Collins was to start, I'd be very concerned.
hahahahaI'm yet to be convinced that Dovin is better than Wilson and Collins if I'm honest.
He's looked like a rabbit caught in headlights a number of times, he's young, he's inexperienced and doesn't command his box in the way keepers once did.
Keepers are coached to be shot stoppers with the habit of pushing the ball away (often straight back to an on rushing opponent or defenders that have lost sight of the ball) rather than catching or smothering it nowadays and they try to play it out from the back often with disastrous consequences.
Give me a Oliver Kahn anytime.

Completely mental post. Fantastic work.I'm yet to be convinced that Dovin is better than Wilson and Collins if I'm honest.

You need all sorts of personalities in a team. Simms is very quiet from the looks of it and Wilson is loud and clowns around. Neither is right or wrong but with too much of either then the dynamics would not work. Too many people with Wilson's personality wouldn't work, but not having any would not work either. I know it's a different sport but it's still a team dynamic, but in the England cricket team it is well known Mark Wood brings the clown energy and he raises morale, whereas Joe Root (Arguably best English batsman of all time) looks quite straight down the line and sensible. Both are equally valued.I wondered how long it was before Wilsons clown antics in training would be attributed as a positive for him
Completely mental post. Fantastic work.
Without knowing his post history I assumed it was some top tier fishingCompletely mental post. Fantastic work.
Name me a goalkeeper who doesn’t.A recipe for disaster… I’m not convinced on any of our keepers.. Dovin is the best of the 3 by far though but even he dropped a clanger or 2
For me is the the most important position on the pitch..
He didn't mean Oliver, he meant GenghisThe last line is magic and the 'give me a Oliver Khan'
Instead of an is a masterstroke.
Yeah I thought it was good tooThe last line is magic and the 'give me a Oliver Khan'

Scott Carson? The best option surely would be if Collins moved and an experienced head was brought in, possibly on loan initially with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
I don't think it is too much of a risk to start the season with Dovin still recovering and unavailable till near Christmas (after all Bell is still available if one of the 2 senior GK picks up a knock) but it wouldn't be a good idea to bring in someone who blocks Dovin's progression.
Name me a goalkeeper who doesn’t.
I'll leave the forum to you clever people in future.

No limits just ask the orange one or others like him!Despite my dislike of colonialism and empire building Im a huge fan of his.
Imperialism must have a statute of limitations.
His grandson Kubla was some boy as well.

We’d have been better off releasing Wilson rather than renewing his contract. It made zero sense.
