I have just spoken to Willie Humphries at Birmingham airport. What a lovely man, sharp as a tack at 90 & he was reminiscing about his days at Coventry in the early 60s. He was with his son & his son said that he loved today being on the pitch with the other legends.

I also spoke to Willie Humphries in the Premier lounge before the game, shook his hand and mentioned to him he played in the same team, called, Bray Wanderers in Ireland at the same time as two of my uncles, goalkeeper Shea Ryan, midfielder Jackie Ryan, I wish I had the team photo with me to show him.
Remember Willie Humphries was Jimmy Hills first signing for the club, great little winger.
