Will we get a windfall from Sturridge sale? (1 Viewer)

Will we get any cash from the £16 million sale of Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea to Liverpool in January?
We recieved £175k (5%) when he went to Chelsea from Man City.
If the same deal applies now we could be looking at £800k which would certainly help in January.
I suppose its only the first transfer that spills down into the Sky Blue coffers but I would like to know otherwise. Fingers Crossed

I wouldn't have thought so! Pretty sure man city wouldn't put in a clause saying we get a percentage of any transfer money!

Tom Ince

Liverpool have a 35% sell on fee for Ince..

So, the more they paym the more they get :thinking about:

If there was a sell on clause when Man City sold him, we might be entitled to 5% of that or something.

So if Man city had a 5% sell on clause, we'd end up with about £40k.

I believe there is a payment deal when he reaches a certain number of international caps but not sure if that still applies.

Think we still have a scheme in place for Kirkland on the same kinda deal, so come on Chris pull your glass fingers out and get back in the England squad
