Tom Grennan in the posh lounge after the match. Lots of folks getting selfies etc with him. I had to ask who he was of course…

seemed happy to spend his time doing them though, fair play.

Any sign of Mike Ashley ? Clive on CWR was suggesting (maybe in jest) before the game that the club had reserved a carpark space for him

Are Palmer and O'Hare the new Gerrard and Lampard?

Anyway I have always assumed that Palmer was earmarked as the man to play behind the striker once O'Hare was sold

Fucking hell it's been 60 mins together and they nearly scored an amazing goal together.

Stop panicking. "Allen's shit Allen's shit.wait we need Allen back asap we need Allen back asap"

Just be calm. We have all 3 and can use whenever

Go back to when he was on loan with us, and you'll find a lot of our fans were saying the same thing......

Just glad that Robins was able to persuade Brighton to sell him to us - we (SISU) will benefit greatly from his increased value when the inevitable happens.

My memory is that at the very beginning a number of people were not that impressed, but he was being used as a sub in the main. However very quickly the raw talent was spotted. I remember Grendel saying at end Feb / early March that there was something about Vik, and that he might be worth a punt. People were not negative about him for very long.

I shall be very sad when we lose this group of players. Over three years the squad has been gradually refined and improved - Max and Baka anyone? The key players may have come from elsewhere but they have honed their skills under Robins - O'Hare, Vik and Sheaf were not unwanted by their parent clubs but not wanted enough. Hamer was in Holland. As for Wilson....

The big change this season is the defence. That was leaky as hell last season and had a terrible record for conceding headers. Maybe Hyam was not as good as everybody thinks. But the problem going forward is obvious - the back 3 is too impermanent, two loans and old geezer

My only criticism for tonight was too many tippy tappy passes on the edge of the box. 470 passes in the game, 2 shots on target. Less passes on the edge, more shots please. Other than that, a solid performance and a great win and yet another blooming clean sheet. You just love it

You've got to accept sometimes that the opposition is sat behind the ball and you need to be patient

I think you will find many people have been negative about Grendel for a long, long time. Or are you talking about Vik?

That’s a separate point. Yes we need to be patient especially early in a game but Palmer and O Hare are both guilty of trying to many small passes or one twos when it’s congested and there was a chance to shoot. That’s not patience, it’s decision making.

Vik and O’hares passing last night was very poor. One of the reasons it took us so long to score. Rest of their game was good of course. If Gus had used a little less weight on 3 of his through balls, we could easily have scored 3 more goals. Palmers first touch and passing was mainly off too.

one of those nights where you’re thinking the other team are going to score any minute, and we’ll lose…but.. we won in the end. Result was everything last night.

Felt a bit sorry for Wigan as the manager hasn’t got a clue - quite liked this post

Gyokeres is the best attacker I’ve seen so far this season. That was a terrific goal but god awful defending. He got the ball in his own half and brought it down. Bullied Shinnie then left Whatmough and Power for dead. We really are fucking shit, most pathetic performance I’ve seen for quite a while from us tonight.

Gyok's goal was brilliant but really the defender should have pulled him back and taken the card before he had the chance. Glad he didn't though!
