Why does Sisu think we'd be better run by a local? (6 Viewers)

So instead of being able to recruit anyone in the world to run CCFC we must have a local? So the brains of Britain might live in The Shetlands but we would have to choose a local?

This to my mind is a discriminatory policy!

Is Sisu competent to run a business with such backward thinking?

I just think they want someone with cheaper travelling expenses, really. Oh and of course they think we'll embrace John Clarke as "one of our own"

They don't think that someone local would be better all round, they think that we would better relate to someone local. They think that someone with a tangible local knowledge would be more welcomed by fans and local business. It has nothing to do with competence.

After all, amongst the biggest criticisms of the boards most recent discharges was where they were based.

It is simply a blatant attempt to love focus away from London based SISU and pretend these locally based puppets are empathetic to our plight and of course care about the club. Personally I hope no local businessman is shallow enough to join these parasites in destroying the club.

who lives locally and is respected by everyone: Sillett, Bennett... SISU will try to get someone to be front man just as Richardson and Robinson used Elliott. When the guns start firing push someone up that nobody wants to shoot and hide behind him.
The shits that have been "chairmen" over the last twenty years have ALL been dishonest and hidden behind Elliott knowing he'll bring everyone out to "clear the snow".
Richardson, Robinson, Igwe all the same.
When they say local they mean fall guy.

Think you misread the quote. It actually said "Sisu think we'd be better run by the local."

As it is that we play pub football at the moment the plan is for the local pub landlord to take charge of the club.

As soon as the moment arrives that we are relegated the landlord will ring a bell and shout "Time gentlemen please!"

When they said "local". They actually meant a pub.

Oh sorry, Otis. I didn't bother (as usual) to read all the replies!
