Why didn't ACL oppose appointment of Appleton? (1 Viewer)

One thing I can't get my head round is why didn't ACL oppose the appointment of Appleton as administrator when it happened? Surely they could've objected in court and asked for a court appointed administrator?

I just don't get it?!

I just dont think they realised

a) He was a complete clown
b) Incapable of any urgency
c) Totally clueless on a Football Admin
D) He is a SISU stooge

before the administration was carried out.

The man is second on my list of wanting the wipe the smug fekking smile off their face, after Tim Fisher.

That's what I don't get though Moff....point 4...I can understand (unfortunately) the other 3 but it's like....I don't know....US and Iraq sitting down round a table with Iraq asking Chemical Ali to pave the way forward....

I said valid reasons....a judge would have laughed that out of court.

Don't need to anyway. They will simply stop the club leaving admin as per the leagues guidance on the matter. Read the statement people.

Judges are to be impartial are they not? Isn't one side of playground appointing an administrator not potentially a conflict of interests?

It shoulnt be no, they are officers lf the court....and im pretty sure this is standard practice. I we'd gone in to admin 24 hours later and ACL appointed Bredan Guilfoyle would you be questioning impartiality?

Well, yeah. The same question would've been asked. Maybe for a different reason though. Had that been the case, I would've wondered what smarmy SISU plan was being concocted if they were going to sit and let ACL choose their own administrator.

You could report him to the FSA if you think he's been unethical or the police if you believe he have acteed illegally
