Hey, some of us are still young whipper snappers.Looking at the replies so far, I think it's time to start handing out the Werther's Originals.
What did he do?Likewise.
Those execises he did when the ball was up the other end, I always thought he would get caught out with a quick break while his eye was off the play, he never was.![]()
Can we please make sure they’re the soft chewy ones, trying to hang on to the few teeth I’ve got left.Looking at the replies so far, I think it's time to start handing out the Werther's Originals.
I can't say as a teenager I paid much attention to what was happening off the ball but it was something like a pushup his body would be parallel to the goal line and near the ground at the edge of the area. What did he do?
I seem to remember Oggy used to do star jumps on the edge of the penalty area.
There's a bench in St Nicholas Park, Warwick dedicated to Bob Wesson. My dog stops at it every time, and asks for a treat. Saw the name, recognised it as a former City keeper. Googled it. Wrong Bob Wesson. Makes me smile each time, and whoever he was, he gets an almost daily recognition from my dog and me!Bob Wesson
