You are right Pete, and people who are saying 'who are you to tell people how they feel' please shut up. A few older fans on here do not like it when others behave like spoilt brats and throw their toys out their pram, and please continue Pete to express yourself. It's pathetic the way some of you behave and if you act like this because of footie God help you when you really do face a challenge in your lives.

People pay good money to follow the team. They are allowed to voice their opinion.

Oh, im sorry. I didnt realise my disgruntled attitude towards our appalling form was upsetting the "older fans on here". How rude of me to not respect my elders!

Get real! Weve been shit for the best part of 3 months. People are frustrated and are venting! If that "offends" you in any way, maybe an Internet forum isnt the best place for you to be? Maybe an old folks home would suit better?

Right now being the key words.

It's a top 6 deck and extremely likely to make top 6

Lampard has over achieved and now people are angry at him for it

I ain't got much else to say on it. I'll wait till next week and hopefully this time next week we are 3 clear.
Yeah we’re a victim of our success. We had some freakish form and wins. Massively overachieving our xG in many games.

It getting nervy. But also trying to remain positive and looking forward to a 16 game auto race - we have to embrace it!!

Pete the form cannot be excused

Neither can the form of the fans, shit for 3 months and silence when the team need us. Silence until we scored today and silence after they equalised. Back the lads or fuck off back to supporting Liverpool and Man Utd - and let’s be honest, it’s true.

The atmosphere this season has been far worse than when we finished 12th or whatever it was in 2022.

I wasn't really talking to you, I was actually talking to the ones who usually talk sense on here but today have lost it a little. I honestly didn't write that with you in mind as i do not find the need to talk to you necessary. You continue DT-R in your same manner as your opinion matters little to me.

People aren’t expressing hate. Most are flabbergasted as to how a team has gone from looking like beating anyone every game , to a team looking like they could be beaten by anyone!
Everyone wants to see order restored and our manager to stop looking like a rabbit in the headlights.
Some are just realistic that you can’t just blow through a league like the Championship.

The problem isn't just that we've blown the lead, it's the manner in which it's happened.
There have been so many similarities in the games we've dropped points from winning positions it's untrue yet we keep doing the same things over and over again.

Yeah; we’ve been found out. As I say we weren’t as good as some thought earlier in the season but it’s up to the players and management to show they’re not as bad as we are currently playing

I don’t know whether we will or not but I’d like to think we will.

You weren't "talking" to anyone. You were preaching from a soap box about how other people should act and feel and behave. A bit ironic really. Having an opinion on a forum and then telling other people with a different opinion to shut up. Then saying as an "older poster" you're fed up of people throwing toys out the pram. For an "older poster" you'd think you'd have a bit more sense and a little less irony in your posts.

Now on goal difference. On the 16th we'll get spanked by Boro and will fall out of the autos shortly after to then scrap for a playoff spot.
And then I fear we’ll be dumped out in the playoff semis.

If all our players could grow a pair and play like their lives depended on it, maybe just maybe we can do it. Frank please don’t fuck it up!

Yes, I am too. I really do find some of the attitudes and comments against our own players way over the top, bordering on being pretty abusive.

See you Saturday.
As I’ve said before 10-15 % maybe even more of our fans are glory hunters here only because we are top.
We all know the last few weeks some results have been rubbish but us loyal many long term fans have to stick with the team the manager and the owner.
We are still top so it is in our hands
.What really annoys me is the gleeful harping criticisms of Frank and the team from many of Joe Public in the country.
I think it can only be jealousy
. Obviously I don’t know Frank personally but I don’t think he deserves a lot of the abuse.
Probably from supporters of teams he never played for .
And as for the bunch of pathetic Southampton players and fans the other week.
What do they expect? If anyone was disrespecting my mother like they were Frank’s my reactions would have been far more severe
Play Up Sky Blues and keep the faith.

Our anthem is
Singing together
Fight till the game is won

We were always better supporters than other teams because of the Phoenix Rising from the flames reborn stuff
Much like most of the history it’s been forgotten or misused

Bar the Ipswich games, our other defeats (all away) have been 2-3, 2-3, 1-2, 1-2. Fine margins, and yes, we have obviously been below par lately. Yet, we have an incredible home record (second to none), and if we (team and fans) can galvanise for the next couple of games (hopefully with at least one reinforcement), there is no reason we can't kick on.

Of we had a half way decent away record qee have a 10 point gap. I think at some point our home record won't be continue. It's ok saying fine margins but most of our away performances have been poor.

Excuse my spelling but if we'd had a half decent away record we would be leading by a lot more points . We can't keep relying on our home form. We have Hull, Bristol City and Shef Utd to play away , can't see us turning this around. Probably just about limp into a play off place . The poor form has been going for too long now.

But it's the level of performance within those games that is the biggest issue, not whether we get smashed by 3-4 or not.
I actually am fine with losing (maybe) but the performances have been dire, and that goes for the Millwall and Leicester games as well (and others I have chosen to forget about in sure). At 2-1 yesterday, that would have been one of the most comfortable afternoons for the QPR defence and goalkeeper. In fact I know Eccles had a sort of shot, but bar a very good headed effort, I don't remember much else from us across the whole game.

Turning around results is one thing, but turning around performances is completely different, and in this sequence we have won games, so if that isn't going to do the trick, what is?

The fans galvavanising is irrelevant if we don't do it on the pitch and after not doing it in 5 of the last 7 away games (Ipswich we unluckily found ourselves chasing the game and Southampton we had no choice after the red) Im not confident we will.

I'm not confident, but I'm hopeful that our fixtures are generally kind to us ( playing all the teams at the bottom) and Bristol City away looks to be as kind an away game as possible at the moment. Boro' obviously a key game, and Hull away may become one, too!

Mate there'll be very little galvanising going on from half the fans on here. Some absolute corkers on here last night. Some were giving up on football completely, and some want the manager that has us top of the league to be sacked.

We currently have to many players out of form, in particular all of the back four and our backups Wolf,Bidwell and Brau are not up to standard. Grimes dropped off, Torp injured to often, Rudoni not the player he was last season, Saka great as an impact player, Simms an enigma and Wright hit and miss. Put this all together and the fact that teams have worked out how to beat us, you can see why we are struggling.

I am also really surprised with Lampard, I just don't understand why he keeps playing the same players and formation when its clear we have issues. When we were playing well, he would make tactical changes during matches and we all thought he was a tactical genius, what's changed, has he dropped off a bit as well?

I love our football club, it was so good when we were playing well, scoring for fun but I was also realistic in that it wouldn't last all season. I think though a lot of us are just sad at the massive drop off, I don't think anyone thought it would have been this much. Teams around us have had wobbles but I don't think as bad as what we are going through and that's also annoying. Middlesborough and Hull, have kicked on again, can we find form again, I hope so don't forget we are Coventry City and never do things the easy way.
